I purposely put an "LOL" at the end of my original post on this matter to show I wasn't that serious.

The truth in all this, is that certain dudes like to 'jump my ****' in here when they get the chance. Believe me, I'm not mad at that. I'm all for 'lively' debate once in awhile.

You'll also never catch me reporting someone's post. Been here since '04, and have never done it. Never will either. Not my style. Snitches get stitches. lol

Having said all that, some bros need to chill just a little. Read the entire post. Understand what was said before going off.

I just read this and people are killing the Lakers for this. Crap, Give Scott a chance, I don't think he's a bad coach, he's was part of ShowTime for goodness sake.

BTW 90% of what athletes say should be considered nonsense when they're asked a question about how they think the team will do, how they will do, if they think they're ever going to leave, etc. Melo alone has proved that for years now and we've tried to tell you that based on what he's said for years. Instead you choose to blow a gasket every time. To each their own.

wwharton, why is the onus on us when these guys say some garbage? Even though they're athletes, aren't they grown adults also? Shouldn't it be on them? Why do they get a free pass here?

Wouldn't sports debate/discussion be practically dead if we all took your advice or looked at it the way you do?

I heard a rumor that apparently the Lakers are waiting to see if Doc actually leaves the Clippers so they can snatch him up. It's just a rumor that has no real credibility, but what other reason is there for taking this long to hire someone?

Why is it so hard to believe that Melo could actually think New York has a decent shot to win? He's one of the few players you can build a team around and Phil Jackson is calling the shots, New York was a big FA destination without him should be bigger with him.
