Wade from the conference finals would've been an upgrade against sa too.

Not really a good way to evaluate.

Wait, people think Klay Thompson is the 2nd best SG in the league?

I... don't know how to respond to that.

Does Goran Dragic count as a SG? Because of the 2 guard system Phoenix employs? If so he's the second best SG in the NBA.

Honestly it's James Harden then you have a bunch of guys I think you could probably make a case for being the second best for this year.

Most of y'all are probably going to disagree but Monta > Klay Thompson.

Monta vs Klay is a weird one for me. Monta is a much better handler, distributor, and shot creator, but Klay is better at shooting from the catch and defending, which are very important as a SG.

Klay has the pure SG mold while Monta is a combo guard.

I think last year i got some **** for calling Monta a rich man's Nate Robinson.

If I'm the GM of a team with no hope of winning a title, and I want a guy that fans will want to see, a guy who entertains them and scores a ton of points, I'd go with Monta. He'll sell more jerseys. It'll be an up and down rollercoaster ride.

If I want a guy who will potentially help me win a title, I want Klay.

                    1. Harden
                    2. Wade
                    3. Beal
                    4. Thompson
                    5. Stephenson
                    6. Manu ... etc
                    (Kobe excluded)

He's still Dwyane Wade. People forget he played pretty well last year in the reg season and first 3 series up until the finals ... I just wonder how MANY games he'll actually play in

19/5/5 playing hurt and third fiddle behind Bron and Bosh. 55% from the floor only taking 14 shots a night.

He's the third best SG ever career wise, and in the league he's second by far. In fact, as far as the mental game and consistency he's the best. Harden is a chucker who puts up big numbers, plays no defense, and isn't really mature enough to be the main man on a championship team.

Just because he's not attacking constantly and flying all over the place doesn't mean he's worse than before.

So in the past 2 years (6 games) that D-Wade has played without LeBron, he's averaged the following:

                          MPG: 27.5
                          PTS: 17.0
                          REB: 4.0
                          AST: 6.0
                          STL: 1.0
                          FGM: 7.3
                          FGA: 16.2
                          FG%: .451

With LeBron out of the picture and Wade having the ball in his hands and less off-ball cutting, it's not a stretch to see him averaging at least 22 points and 6 dimes a game. He also won't have the luxury of sitting out back-to-back games anymore so we'll see how he holds up. But as far as his knees are concerned, honestly many are blowing it out of proportion. Last season, apart from a hamstring and minor Achilles injuries, there were no reports of his knee, sure there was soreness cited in January but that was more of a precaution than anything. Physically, Wade looked fine. Hopefully with him even more slimmer this off-season, he'll be ready for 75+ games.

Apparently, the Clippers and San Antonio Spurs are also making a push for the services of Ray Allen.

Honestly, no problem with Ray going to Miami after Boston did him wrong. No problem with Ray ring chasing and trying to join up with LeBron in Cleveland. Didn't even mind if he only played half a season.

                                But, the Spurs?
