Tyrone Lue agrees to become Cavs associate head coach, which I think is a fancy term for lead assistant.

Timmy oh timmy you have the perfect way to retire. Getting redemption and winning the title would have been a perfect way to ride into the sunset. Now what if you dont even make the finals and win?

Doubt Timmy cares about the money. Don't think he really needs it at this point. Think he just loves the game man.

                I agree lol

Honestly at this point Timmy is still playin great basketball and the spurs will keep being contenders. I'm not sure how walking away from 1, 2 or maybe even 3 more seasons of that for a "perfect" ending is worth it.

Exactly, especially since he has at least one more chance at that elusive back to back that you just know he realizes he could be celebrating right now.

Yeah I agree, he wants to get that back to back. If the Spurs don't win it next year, he'll probably call it then.

You know that I was talking about a type of player and it had nothing to do with money, contracts or salary cap. That was unnecessary.

Maybe or maybe not. I think as long he can be effective and the team continues to be successful then he could play beyond this upcoming season. I just think he's more like Kareem than people realize and he just love's the game.

The Jazz have reportedly been in talks with the Cavs with a deal centering around Derrick Favors and the Cavs' No. 1 pick.
Utah radio man Spencer Checketts says that Favors and the Jazz's No. 5 pick are on the table for the Cavs' No. 1 overall pick, with their No. 23 pick, Alec Burks and/or a future unprotected first-round pick as sweeteners. Cleveland-friendly writer Sam Amico later tweeted that the deal would require Favors, Burks, the No. 5 pick, the No. 23 pick and "potentially" Jarrett Jack. Some reliable writers such as Marc Stein have weighed in saying that the Jazz moving Favors is not likely.

That's an awful lot to give for the #1 pick (moving 4 places up).

The two guys they want won't be there at 5 considering Embiid is on a meteoric free fall.

Miami Heat?.... would be a good fit...

Channing Frye has declined his $6.8 million player option for the 14-15 season with the Phoenix Suns to become a free agent.

The Suns have a desire to re-sign Frye depending on what happens in the draft and possible trades.

Frye missed the entire 12-13 season after being diagnosed with an enlarged heart, but played in all 82 games while shooting 37 percent on three-pointers last season.

Frye is one of the NBA's better stretch-4's.

I always trade for him on 2k. Love his game and I think he'd fit perfectly. Maybe then Bosh would keep his *** inside the arc.
