kg isnt just top 10, he is the best defensive PF and arguably the best PF of all time. he didnt have the luxury of being on teams as great as tim so of course he doesnt have the rings
For me, he's not in the same stratosphere as Duncan. He's on a tier with Dirk and some other guys IMO. The way Duncan carried that Spurs team when David Robinson was pretty much washed up and Parker and Ginobili weren't really good yet was more impressive than anything Garnett has ever accomplished. Same with Dirk's run a couple a years ago.

Duncan is the best PF I've seen... and Garnett is a close second.

Do we really need to post TD's accomplishments? Like he doesn't have a laundry list of his own? Lol

I mean I can if need be, just didn't think it'd be necessary..

Oh believe me I know he's a very good player. Top 5 PF easy. It's just like he never had any sexiness about his game like Dirk's fade or Hakeem's shake that would just make you go damnnnnn. He's a great fundamental guy like Timmy in an era where people remember the flashy guys.

Gregg Popovich is a better coach than Phil Jackson. And neither hold a candle to Red Auerbach.

You can't argue both that he's underrated because he didn't have a supporting cast as good as Duncan's while simultaneously putting him on a pedestal because of the volume of his numbers. If he played with better players, the volume of his numbers most likely wouldn't be what they are now. For example, when he went to Boston, his rebounding and scoring numbers suddenly dropped by 4 rebounds and 4 points in just one year. Garnett is one of the best PFs of all-time, but just like he likely would have won more championships had he played on better teams, his numbers likely wouldn't have been as impressive had he played on better teams.

You'll probably see the same thing when Kevin Love eventually moves on to a contending team. Instead of averaging 22, 14, and 3, he'll probably average closer to 18, 10, and 2 or 3.

Heck, you saw the same with Duncan. When he was younger and the team wasn't as strong, he had ridiculous lines like when he carried them pretty much singlehandedly to a title while averaging 25, 15, 5, and 3 blocks a game. As the team got stronger, he started averaging more like 20, 10, 3, and 2 a game. But at the end of the day, Duncan was better at their peaks, and his peak has lasted much longer than Garnett's. The dude is still averaging like 15 and 10 per game at 37 years old, and his per 36 numbers are still just as good as they ever were, while Garnett has noticeably fallen off.

Garnett's on that next tier after Duncan, but Duncan is on a pedestal of his own as a PF. I'd write a more comprehensive argument supporting my opinion, but I just started working full-time for the first time in my life and I'm exhausted lol.

Hahaha nah Swaggy's style don't count for ****.

More like Blake Griffin who has countless videos of him just embarrassing people with his posters. When I think of KG highlights I just think of all his scrappy defensive plays-they win you games but aren't "sexy." Playing in Minnesota for all those years has something to do with it.

On the Blake topic, unpopular opinion: he's the best playmaking big in the league.
