PF - Tim, Chuck, Malone, Pettit, Dirk, KG.

In no order, those 6 guys are all up there together as far as individual talent goes, all with different strengths over the others.. But Tim's career is far greater than the others. IMO

This is one of, if not the best "dunk-on" in NBA history.

        This one!

Regarding the Duncan discussion, while I think he is the clear #1 PF of all time and a top 7-8 player most likely, I think a bunch of guys that would be "ranked" lower than him were better players in their "prime".

              Re: The Unpopular Opinion thread

The level of competition to make it in the NBA pretty much means you have to be passionate unless you have the natural talent/athleticism that only maybe 5% of the league has. There will always be freakishly gifted people like Bynum that stand out because basketball lends itself to awarding people who's physical profiles are such true anomalies.

Basically, you aren't making it in the league if you're under 6'8 and not passionate about the game. There are only a handful of people on Earth with Bynum's natural gifts, so it only makes sense there are certain people cashing in on that, but even then if you don't have the passion to stay in shape, etc. you won't last in the league long.

Bynum put a ton of work in early in his career. He was immature but we've seen enough examples of players with his gifts flaming out to know he had to at least have some desire to play the game to develop to the level he did. He's been a joke the last two years, but he's only been afforded those chances because he put in a ton of work to become the big contract player he was. He played an entire postseason with a knee that required surgery, and played hard. Couldn't have been something he would have done if he didn't have any desire for the game, not like his contract wasn't guaranteed.

Maybe his interest just waned, maybe the injuries killed it, but he had to have a drive to play at one point or he wouldn't of been the player he was.

Paul George is a superstar right now and I would take him over Melo and Harden ...(Gulps)

^^ I'm pretty sure 99% of NBA fans had that opinion last year.

I would take him over Melo and Harden too, but I'm not sure that makes George a superstar.

Two way players almost always trump the really, really good one way player. It's why a guy like Mutombo isn't considered better than the Dream.

Hornets will go for 50+ wins this season.

Clyde Drexler is criminally underrated, if you look statistically he is up there with the GOATs.

Nerlens Noel will have a double-double season.

LeBron James will not win a ring in Cleveland (I don't hate LBJ at all, in fact I like him)

How is Ryan Gomes still in the NBA?

Dallas will make the WCF this season.

Nerlens Noel (if he's healthy) will win rookie of the year this year.
John Wall will make the jump and become a superstar this year.
The Pistons finally won't fire a coach the same year they hired him.
The east will be much better this year.
