Random sidenote, I usually don't have cable so watching Sportscenter for once and listening to the anchors read people's Tweets throughout the show is a little bizarre. Feels weird to hear ESPN folks say "homie" when quoting LeBron. Kinda feels weird that they devote so much show/any show to reading player Tweets regardless.

Yet another reason why I don't watch/acknowledge anything that "network" does. (Hold for actual games which I mute and listen to the feed on satellite radio).

World Cup of Basketball in Spain

Just watching the 1st quarter again...has Rose always landed on one leg like that after dunking? I've seen him do it at least three times now, seems like an incredibly awkward way to land...

I had someone tell me they thought it looked like his leg was either bothering him or he was favoring it.. Everyone was saying he looked explosive and great, but maybe the awkward landings is what he was referring to as well.

Yeah, he's always done that depending on the dunk.

honestly tho, injury probly happens even if the TnM wasnt stupid and refused to make stanchions normal positioning.

but whats with the youngtrece, i dont get it..

That's kind of just been the nature of his signature dunk. I do not believe it is incredibly awkward, per se. With folks who dunk off two feet, that'll tend to happen. His is just a little more emphasized sometimes.

Oh ok, just seems like an odd habit, lol

Regarding the stanchion, you'll honestly hear different opinions throughout the league on where it's should be placed...I know I personally preferred it closer. I think at the end of the day it was a freak accident that you probably wouldn't see in another 100 Vegas games...

Now, the cameramen placement is a different story..

Granted, there was contact on this dunk on Dragic, but he landed in a similiar way

We get D-Rose back but we lose PG on the same night

It was an eventual injury with the placement. I've seen players fly into it across it, etc... and thats why I was complaining about it this season. It gets kind of dangerous
