Odom is nowhere near Pippen hes not that great on defense and Brian Grant if you think he's going to be your Rodman i suggest you wake up Grant's god awful
As Shaquille O'Neal left the Suns practice court, he yelled out, "Alvin's the coach. We must be the Clippers. And I must be Olowokandi. Nooooo!"

Kobe not even close to MJ, although he's the closest out of all the other players, he's still not close. So why try? Face it the lakers are in a hole and detroit proved it.

You're right, he's not. He's better at 24 than MJ was at 24. He has a better jump shot, more experience, and a better understanding of the game.

I'm sure this opens me up to get flamed to hell and back, but I remember Jordan in the 80's and he was no where close to where Kobe is now.

I'm not saying Kobe will be better at his peak than Jordan was, but he definitely has the talent and knowledge to be right there with him.

How is that? Explain yourself rookie. MJ shot over 50% in his career. By the time MJ hit his 3rd year, he won MVP DPOY, ROY defensive 1st team all nba first team All Star MVP, scoring title, and other individual awards. Now how has Kobe topped that? And dont say the rings cause Shaq and Bob Horry was the main reason for the rings.
