    Good points. I can see where your coming from re Kobe at the same age.

    BTW ignore KDRE.

    Unfortunatley, he's a 12 year old kid who is obsessed with T Mac. Now, that's fine and all. However, it means that he has some sort of insane bias against Kobe. (Theory = Kobe and Mac are rivals, you know how kids are with that [censored]).

    Personally, I don't like Bryant as a person. But the facts are, just about every player in the game calls him the number one player when on his game. I respect Rudy T a lot and Rudy basically feels Bryant has the potential to be the greatest ever. LA will be his team now.

    As stated, I don't like him as a person and I don't like the Lakers. As a basketball fan though, it will be very interesting to see if he can rise to this challenge. I think a lot of us forget how young Kobe is.

    People also forget (conveniently) that Shaq, for all his domincance, hasn't had to take or make a game winning shot in a big game for years.

    Because of his foul shooting, Shaq never gets the ball when it counts, game on the line.

    Now, despite this, most Kobe haters will tell you the kid did nothing to get the three rings. Where I sat, he seemed to cary them most times in the crunch.

      lakers doesn't need kobe to carry them, fisher can make the shots luke can pass the ball, horry made it a couple years ago fox hit the 3's or at least he used to, kobe was throwing bricks at the finals...
      jordan made all his team better and his was adaptive to the system phill created kobe made lakers play ugly basketball...

            Kobe will never be able to shoot over 50 percent because;

            1)He doesn't mind hoisting up shot after shot,thus making his FG% lower
            2)He's just not as good as MJ...Period.

            Great player thought,can be a pr*ck,but great player thought.

                  Is there a reason you guys cannot post intelligent post without mentioning my name. I haven't said a word about Tmac, and just because I like him does not mean that what I post is invalid about Kobe. I have never liked Kobe, period. When I didn't like Mac I didn't like Kobe. If you want to tell the man to ignore me, dont mention my name in a post. PM him. I can assure you I am much older than you are, and being that Kobe plays for a team the reps my city I can say what I feel just like the rest of you can.

                              Trust me Pdiddy, I live in LA, I see all of em. The real fans the playoff fans, the corporate fans, the fake fans, and the fanboys. I am just amazed that I'm the guy singled out by these homers because of a post. They cant refute the post so they attack me. LOL. I probably know more about the Lakers than they do. I follow the NBA period, not just one team or player. Heck, I like the Clippers more than the now past Lakers team simply because their attitudes aren't nearly as bad or even close to the Laker players, and they work for Sterling.
