    Re: Kobe\'s \'Bulls\'?

Pathetic man. I'm supposed to have an intelligent point-counterpoint with someone who bases peoples merits by the number of posts they have.

I'll post a few more thousand times in about Madden and NCAA then get back to you on this one stud.

    I'm a rookie, you win.

I was not talking about your post count. Get it?? You sound like a guy who didn't see MJ play much at all, and against greater talent to post what you said, which is why I countered your post instead of just attacking you.

I don't hang in the Madden Ncaa forums, and I dont play football games, so get it right.

I'm sure this opens me up to get flamed to hell and back, but I remember Jordan in the 80's and he was no where close to where Kobe is now.

I'm not saying Kobe will be better at his peak than Jordan was, but he definitely has the talent and knowledge to be right there with him.

This is not supposed to take away from Kobe's skills on the court, the circumstances that he was brought into are different than MJ. Jordan was expected to make an impact immediately, no one was sure how good Bryant would be. West saw the potential, and basically stole him from the Hornets for Vlade.

This is not supposed to take away from Kobe's skills on the court, the circumstances that he was brought into are different than MJ. Jordan was expected to make an impact immediately, no one was sure how good Bryant would be. West saw the potential, and basically stole him from the Hornets for Vlade.

You're right, he's not. He's better at 24 than MJ was at 24. He has a better jump shot, more experience, and a better understanding of the game.

I'm sure this opens me up to get flamed to hell and back, but I remember Jordan in the 80's and he was no where close to where Kobe is now.

I'm not saying Kobe will be better at his peak than Jordan was, but he definitely has the talent and knowledge to be right there with him.

First off, When MJ first entered the league he didn't have the supporting cast Kobe has now.

This proves my point exactly. MJ came into the league and he was the Bulls entire team. While he scored and scored and became a human highlight reel while the team went nowhere, Kobe has been on a team that is a year after year playoff (if not Finals) contender. Kobe has a much better understanding of the game at this point of his career. He has a much better outside jump shot than Jordan did at their same ages. I know Jordan had a higher FG%, but he attacked the basket more than Kobe does and it is more Kobe's job (in the triangle) to be the outside threat to Shaq's inside dominance.

No one ever said Kobe is better than MJ so cool off Mr. All-Star. In fact, IMO, I'd take Jordan with my first pick if I were starting an All-Time team. Conversely, I'd take Kobe with my first pick if I were starting an NBA team today.

I saw Jordan play his entire career. Not just in the mid-to-late 90's. I can vividly recall all of the things they said about him before the Bulls finally won the championship and they sound eerily familiar to what they are saying about Kobe now.

Why would you start a team in the L with Kobe instead of a Shaq, TD or KG?
