Sources: Dallas engaging Lakers on sign-and-trade options for free agent Jeremy Lin. Mavs low on space to sign him to market-level deal.

I have so much Xavier gear and had no idea it was in Cincy....

Hope West comes to SA though....he would have a pretty clear role

I would cause the Cavs to have a massive tax this year, but it's not quite as bad of a financial move for the Cavs as it might seem. Varejao has 30 million left on his deal as deadweight, and the Cavs would make a trade for someone with Haywoods contract anyway. In the long term trading for Johnson might actually save Dan Gilbert money, depending on who the Cavs ould get back in another theoretical Haywood trade.

Per league source, #Spurs have withdrawn qualifying offer to @Cory_Joe making him unrestricted FA

Andy's last two years are non guaranteed anyway, so even if they don't move him now, he could be a chip next offseason or at the trade deadline this year.

What **** have you been smoking? If the Cavs get West there isn't a chance in hell he doesn't see minutes. Marion was practically a corpse when he signed on with the Cavs, West legit could play another 3 years of solid, productive basketball.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Out of curiosity, why aren't the Rockets going after Jameer Nelson?

All I know is that if this trade does go through and they land West, it's kind of unfair how stacked CLE and SA will be. SA won't be paying near the bill that CLE will though.
Were is Stern when you need him, right? My best friend who just so happens to be a 76ers fan loves bringing up that Veto and it changed the whole out look and future for the Lakers.

Gilbert's not crying unfair anymore....make him spend and spend some more Lebron lol.
