Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
I heard a preview about this the other day and they played snippets on there and from what I heard on there, it sounded like an interesting listen. Definitely like both of them have regrets for everything that transpired back then but I guess that's what happens when times passes by.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
Oh no doubt and I'd expect that too.
But it's still good to hear and know that all the animosity and hatred they once had for each other is gone.
Rather see that than hear either of them still bitching about the other years later.#RespectTheCultureComment

Why would anybody care about ribbing Dwight? He's consistently deserved all the ridicule he's gotten as far as I can tell.Comment

2015 Offseason Thread
Sort of related to what kobe said, but i find it funny how when d12 was in la people ripped on him mercilessly, but when he left, people shifted to crapping on kobe for dwights bad experience here. I was never really on either side, as i felt both guys were being immature, but its funny to see how it has been several years later and its still a thing lol.Last edited by ProfessaPackMan; 08-28-2015, 04:08 PM.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
He won MVP, but he didn't "carry" Kobe. Kobe was at worst, the 3rd best player in the world at the time and posted full playoff stat lines of 21/4.5/4.5/1.5/1.5 at age 21, 29.4/7.3/6/1.6/.8 at 22 and 26.6/5.8/4.6/1.4/1 at age 23, during their 3 peat. Let's not forget that Kobe was also a premier perimeter defender at this point in his career. Hardly an insignificant player needing to be "carried"."In the morning he would read the Bible with another coach. You're just trying to be technical.Comment

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
I don't think people want to discredit Kobe. It's just that some people seem to treat Kobe's rings with Shaq on the same level as his rings without. As if he wasn't the 2nd best/most important player on these teams by a wide, wide margin. He was carried to those 3 like Pippen was carried to his rings with MJ. Not really an insult.Comment

I could easily say you're downplaying Shaq's contribution by trying to argue against the MVP and throwing out stats like that trying to prove something but its in the history books.Comment
