    So what'd the trade be?

    Lakers get:
    Cousins

    Magic get:
    2nd pick

    Kings get:
    Vucevic

    Or what?

I'd think Kings would get #5 too. I don't know.

I knew they'd try to do something like that if they weren't completely impressed by Russell and Okafor. It makes sense too.

Then again, dont see how attractive would it be for SAC if they also surrender their 5th pick.

Anyways, interested on looking forward to see the details of those ongoing converastions and other possible trade assets involved.

Doesn't make any sense for the Magic to get rid of Vucevic (if he would even be a part of it) for someone younger that plays even worse D...would have to get back something substantial besides the #2 pick to be logical. Seems like a pipe dream from the Lakers...

                    From PBT...

Sacramento decision maker Vlade Divac has made it clear: He doesn’t want to trade DeMarcus Cousins. So stop asking, unless you’re offering Michael Jordan.

Yet, in the wake of Cousins’ frustrations with the constantly shifting plans of the Kings ownership, plus coach George Karl saying he never had an untradable player, the offers keep coming. Even though they are all long-shots. At best.

The latest long shot is from the Los Angeles Lakers, in a possible three-way deal with Orlando, as reported by Marc Stein at ESPN.

The Los Angeles Lakers have emerged as one of the most determined trade suitors for Sacramento Kings All-Star center DeMarcus Cousins, according to league sources….

Sources say that the Lakers, Kings and Orlando Magic have had exploratory dialogue on a three-way Cousins trade that would land the 24-year-old in Los Angeles. All three teams hold top-six picks in Thursday’s NBA draft, and Orlando has a young top-flight center of its own in Nikola Vucevic, who could theoretically fill the Cousins void….

The Lakers would appear to have limited assets to get into the trade sweepstakes for Cousins — in the event Sacramento’s stance changes — beyond surrendering prized young big man Julius Randle and/or the No. 2 overall pick in Thursday’s draft.

How do you think Sacramento trading its best and most popular player by far to the hated Los Angeles Lakers would go over with an already frustrated fan base?

I can’t see this happening. For one thing, it’s going to take more than the Lakers’ No. 2 pick — which would be Duke’s big man Jahlil Okafor. No way the Lakers would give up Randle and the No. 2, but would the Lakers surrender Jordan Clarkson and the No. 2? It’s likely going to take at least that — and that may not be enough.

All that’s if you can get the Kings to change their minds. Which is unlikely at best.

The Lakers can poke around a little, but they are better off with a young nucleus of Clarkson, Randle and Okafor.

Okafor would be good with that, he told NBC’s Sports ProBasketballTalk on Monday that he did see a fit in Los Angeles. And he likes the idea of playing with Kobe Bryant.

“I think I can learn a ton,” Okafor said of playing with Bryant in what might be Kobe’s final season. “He’s been in the NBA a while, he came into the league early — I think he was younger than me when he came into the league — so I want to pick his brain and learn as much as I can….

“It’s all about he wants to win. So do I.”

That sounds like a good Lakers foundation.

I doubt Cousins wants to go to the Lakers.

27 and another late first rounder.

Honestly I' rather just keep the pick and go with it.

Lakers don't have the assets to get this done IMO and I honestly believe the Kings don't want to trade Cousins

More trade rumors. Will this be more "talk" that sources go silent on come Thursday?

Phoenix Suns point guard Eric Bledsoe is reportedly on the trading block ahead of Thursday's NBA draft, and the team figures to continue shopping him if he isn't moved by then.

Sean Deveney of Sporting News reported that Phoenix has offered Bledsoe and the 13th overall pick to New York in exchange for the Knicks' fourth overall draft pick. Deveney also cited sources in stating Bledsoe will continue to be a trade chip the Suns explore cashing in on if their young floor general isn't dealt on draft night.

Bledsoe, who stuffed the stat sheet in 81 games this past season with 17 points, 5.2 rebounds, 6.1 assists and 1.6 steals, has already been part of one blockbuster trade in his young career, when he came to Phoenix from the Los Angeles Clippers.

CBSSports.com's Matt Moore was skeptical of Bledsoe's fit in the triangle offense the Knicks are attempting to implement:

Suns general manager Ryan McDonough had a strong first year at the helm to push Phoenix to a surprising winning season but seems to be clearing the deck now and truly restructuring the roster.

Phoenix had a surplus of point guards in Bledsoe, Isaiah Thomas and Goran Dragic last year. An extraordinarily active NBA trade deadline saw McDonough ship away the latter two and acquire Brandon Knight in a three-team deal.

Head coach Jeff Hornacek spoke recently about the draft philosophy of bringing in strong competition at any position even if the Suns stick to their original slot of No. 13 overall, per AZCentral.com's Paul Coro (h/t ESPN.com):

We always need guys that will push our guys or even challenge them for a spot. Sometimes, that's hard, especially nowadays when these guys are so young coming in that you're not going, 'OK, this guy is going to be a starter this year.' Not unless you probably have the first one, two or three (picks) or something in that range. Where we're picking at 13, you're going to get a good, solid guy that can push our guys and maybe in a year or two take over their spots.

Both Knight and Bledsoe are similar in that they're smaller but extremely quick and athletic combo guards who have a knack for setting up teammates and can also score. These Bledsoe rumors suggest Knight will be entrenched in the desert, yet Knight is also a restricted free agent this offseason.

It's hard to get a read on just what Phoenix might be planning. Logical options to replace Bledsoe in the backcourt include Ohio State product D'Angelo Russell and Emmanuel Mudiay, who played professionally in China last year.

There's no guarantee Russell and Mudiay will still be on the board when the Suns hypothetically pick at No. 4, though, so perhaps they will seek an upgrade in another area.

Sacrificing a proven player and a solid draft asset for an extremely high pick that may not buy a surefire franchise cornerstone makes Phoenix's reported strategy to shop Bledsoe quite risky. Bledsoe is also just 25 years old and proved capable of functioning alongside Dragic, so he could make it work with Knight as well.

Not really a secret PHX trying to trade bledsoe because they don't know what they're doing.

Throw in the obligatory Knicks name and voila
