Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
Per Zack Lowe
the Warriors are trawling for someone to take David Lee, with the 30th pick as a potential sweetener, per sources around the league.
The Warriors almost certainly won’t sacrifice two picks for that financial relief, per league sources.#RespectTheCultureComment

A little late to the convo, but i agree entirely with what you said here. I really dont wanna give up clarkson or randle, and if either is in the deal, then id just keep the pick and draft okafor.Lakers

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
It's kinda hard to lead your team when you've gone through multiple coaches and schemes as well as dealing with constant roster turnover and playing with marginal at best, awful at worst players. This entire time he's playing Sacramento the 2nd and 3rd best players he has played with have been Rudy Gay and Darren Collison.
Oh wait, they're the Kings so with the exception of a 5-6 year run in the late 90's early 2000's they've pretty much blown every era.
I would do that trade. I don't think we can fill our need at 16 which a presence down low on the offensive and defensive end. Also we have Isaiah who was pretty good last year after we traded for him. And we can't play him at the 2 because we signed Bradley to a 4 year extension last offseason. My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague

At first I read that wrong. I thought they were packages for Cousins. Then re-read and didn't change my opinion because it was the same.Comment

His conduct on and off the court. Especially toward his team mates which he's openly acknowledged and since corrected.....as far as I've seen anywayLast edited by The 24th Letter; 06-23-2015, 02:41 PM.Comment

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
So basically Karl wants to trade Cousins but the owner won't allow it.
Yeah, I don't see how that's going to have a positive outcome. I understand reservations in trading Cousins because he's so talented and still very young, but they need to move on. If they could get Julius Randle and then draft Okafor, that's a good place to start over. I'd pull the trigger if I'm the owner and am committed to George Karl.Comment

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
Cousins is legit. Not going to pretend I watched the entire Kings season or anything but in the handful of games I did watch he's pretty much the only player I watched this year who could consistently command double teams. He passes well for a big, has a decent jumper for a big, he could IMO be the most impactful/dominant player in the league.
We all know that his head isn't always where he needs to be though. I'd really like to see him land in a good situation rather than another **** storm.
That said I really don't think #2, Clarkson, and Randle is too much from LAL. But then again I think Randle is overrated as a prospect, and Clarkson isn't something that's hard to replace. If Jahlil maximizes his potential completely then it might end up a bad move in the long run. But right now with him being an unknown it's not so bad, I wouldn't take any less if I was SAC.

reportedly Karl wants to trade Cousins for Faried and Lawson. Can't blame ownership one second here.. Karl needs to be stopped.Wolverines Packers Cubs Celtics

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
The Cavs actually have an overlooked front court dilemma.
Andy V was playing about 25 MPG before getting hurt.
Mozgov was playing 25 MPG
Thompson played 26.8 MPG
Love played 33.8 MPG
Andy got extended and is getting $10 mil per year
Mozgov getting $5 mil
If Love and Thompson both get maxed, how do they manage all of these minutes? Mozgov is a bargain at $5 mil but realistically can they keep him beyond next year? Andy is very overpaid IMO. But how could you max out Thompson and play him less than 30 MPG? Doesn't make sense to me. Someone needs to go IMO. Of course this isn't as much of an issue when Andy inevitably gets injured, but he's the most logical choice to be traded yet least likely to IMO because of his relationship with LeBron. If he does stay healthy though, why are you paying him $10 mil to play 20 MPG? I don't see how he sees the court more than that with Mozgov, Thompson, and Love in the front court.Comment
