When the Cavs go small with their TT-LeBron-JR-Shump-Kyrie lineup, the Hawks are going to get railroaded.

The Wizards would have been a real problem, because John Wall could have literally blown past Kyrie at all points in the game and Kyrie couldn't guard Beal. I'd feel much better with having Kyrie guard Carroll than PP.

I understand some people still believe in the Hawks or doubt the Cavs, that's fine. This Cavaliers team is so mentally tough and so talented that they should be favored in nearly every game against the Hawks. Especially since the Hawks offense is a lot easier to stop in the playoffs with multiple games of seeing the same things.

Team Basketball doesn't win NBA Titles. Superstars do.

It doesn't matter or it doesn't matter as much as people think it does? I think early on in the playoffs, it still matters(especially when dealing with 2 teams who are almost evenly matched)but the deeper you get in the playoffs, the less you can take anything from the regular season, if that makes sense.

Paul Pierce said right now seems like his body is leaning towards retirement..said them losses took a lot out of him and his family..thought this was a team that could get it done..in tears PP that is

The real issue is whether or not we can punish them in the paint when they run bron and tt together at the 4 and 5.

I think it's going to come down to those guard screen and rolls/pops. With LeBron bring the ball handler.

Cavs have no post players beyond bron. So we gonna trap those and switch everywhere else on the floor besides bron.

You make sound really easy....smh... it has to be a balance or combination of good man to man with a sparkle of help defense. You have to mix it up with LeBron and make him over think. Play one coverage and he'll eat you alive. It's also like the Spurs tactic of playing off him.

And I'm only taking about post ups. When Teague and Dennis get involved in pick and rolls. Switch, Hedge or play back.

Honestly, Cleveland struck fools gold in this series against the Bulls. There's a reason JR and Shump were given up for a bag of donuts. Dellavedova isn't about to look like the second coming of Bird in this series, Shump will have maybe one more game of insane shooting before he realizes he can't shoot again and I think JR is about to hit his yearly playoff disappearing act. Definitely going to be interesting to see how things play out, but I have my doubts that Cleveland's supporting cast can keep up what they've got going.

This isn't a low blow King. But if Atlanta gives those same looks that they had vs the Bulls. They will keep on playing this way.

Nothing easy about it. Just so we are clear we wont stop bron. But that isnt the key to winning the series imo. We wil double and trap him in the post and pick and roll. Then we will scramble around and attempt to close out on shooters. Thats all i was saying.
