re: 2016 NBA Offseason Thread
More realistically, Dwight needs to realize his role at this point, and I personally thinks he needs some much bigger names/personas ahead of him on the food chain for it to work. Harden is one of the biggest names/personas in the league right now, so the fact he's causing issues in HOU should be a huge red flag to pretty much every other team out there. Unless he wants to take a big pay cut to chase a ring with one of the already established teams. I think he could function in Miami, but why would they throw money at him instead of Whiteside?Comment

re: 2016 NBA Offseason Thread
Harden was an issue himself really. I dont know what happened to him but he used to be more unselfish....then to wanting players traded and coaches fired. Not giving a crap about his team.
Nobody wants a guy on their team that always handles the ball like Chris Paul but shoots like Kobe on one of his I dont care nights, but all the time
Come to think of it i cant use this years Rockets as the biggest factor because that whole situation from management to player personnel was a mess mix.
Dwight needs to stop getting in foul trouble and letting his frustration take him out of games. Hes been saying he has to work on that for a couple years now and still hasnt worked on it.
Also he needs a teacher coach that will let him know how he'll get his points....kinda how shaq and kenny explained.....they just need to let him know thats how his points will come. Thats how he excelled under SVG and its not as hard as it sounds.
If he can't except that then I'd pass, but its actually totally reasonable.

@WojVerticalNBA
Portland and coach Terry Stotts have reached agreement on a contract extension, league sources tell @TheVertical.
I remember reading last week Stotts returning wasn't a given. Good to see the two sides worked things out.Comment

Only just under 9 hours until #ThePorking is in full effect. (Also I consider us staying at 3 a porking).Comment

Staying at 3 would be cool with me. Celtics almost always drop from the position we enter the Lottery in. I consider ending up at 3 a win. No sense in acting greedy now after years of disappointment.Comment

Basketball gods screwed us over tossing our last number one pick's knees all over the court for about three straight years. Time to pay us what you owe bball gods and give us another number 1.
