No, I'm not hating, so you can dead that. Comparing this years Lakers to a Bulls DYNASTY where Rodman was averaging AT LEAST 15 rpg evey season, Pippen was pullin in at least 20-5-5 and was a triple double calibur player who was a monster on defense, one of the greatest coaches of any sport in Phil Jackson, and a man who is truely the greatest of all time in Jordan. Compare them to an LA squad with Kobe ballhogging? I'm not hating, I'm just sayin the comparison is rediculous.

You wanna compare realisticly, compare him to TMac. He's a good player on a bad squad who off of his talents alone, will take his team to the playoffs every year (which tmac did every year except last year).

yeah I was kidding about the hate part. But I agree, to a degree.

Kobe's out West... He doesnt have the liberty to tone it down abit like Tmac "had the chance to". Lets see what he can do...

take kobe off those title teams, lets see where that 25 ppg avg goes to

yea, you could give those 25 to shaq, but he'd be a dead horse by the 4th quarter...let alone, a seven game series

those bulls statistics are "do able"...team success, maybe...maybe not...

but this lakers team can pull off those statistics, almost all top tier teams actually

and those stats got the bulls into the playoffs...2004-2005 Lakers can make it as well

First of all, I never want to hear a Jordan/Kobe comparison again!!!! It's not valid, so give it up!!!!!! There is a reason why Jordan is so respected and there are so many Kobe haters out there!! Kobe wants all of this respect from people but he has to earn it first, just like Jordan did!!!!!

I agree w/ Jordan in that one star player w/ a bunch of role players can be successful, but one thing your missing Jordan0386, is that Kobe is NOT a leader!! He will NOT will his team to success and he WON'T make his teammates better...Those are the intangible traits that keep Kobe from reaching Jordan/Bird/Magic status!!! He's just not a leader!!!

well, stop passing him the ball with 5 seconds left on the shot clock...stop asking why he isnt taking shots for your team...dont ask him to play a number 2 when he has "1" ability

its crazy how a lot of folks depict kobe as a non leader...but they always want him to do the right things, such as LEAD!!!!!!!!

People expect this from him because he is one of the Marquee players in the league. If you are a marquee player in the league then you better be expected to lead the troops. Magic was the general, Jordan was the general, Bird was the general. Leading a team is more than just scoring and shooting. The guy only cares about himself and where he stands in history. He won those championships because of Shaq being there...Kobe couldn't do it on his own (just like Jordan couldn't do it w/o Pippen, Paxson, etc.), and i'm sure that bothers him!! Only Kobe would not appreciate having a big man like shaq. Put him on the Celtics and i'm sure Paul Pierce won't be complaining!!
