Sorry in advance 24 but a Spurs fan called the Lakers organization dysfunctional a couple days ago because it's young players troll each other on social media(which they've been doing all year btw) but the Spurs franchise doesn't know wether it's star player was injured or not injured all year, wants to be there or not be there [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Cavs could always let the Spurs have George Hill back, make the money work with Thompson, or Clarkson and trade the 8th pick for Kawhi.Comment

If one of those players was young and actually decent that would be a decent deal to put together. I think the real deal will be closer to something like this than Jaylen, salary and the Kings pick.Comment

Might as well ship out Horford since he’s not that good anyway...#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: 2017-2018 Off-Season Thread
I don't really get the Celtics desperation to make these big moves either really. Like if Kawhi is available and you have a realistic chance to get him and he wants to sign an extension with you, I guess it's cool, you HAVE to explore that I guess.
But there was a guy on NBA radio not long ago who made a solid point that I agree with. Part of the problem in the NBA and why Golden State can continue to do what they're doing is teams are doing things like trying to wait them out and doing TOO much trying to compete with them rather than sticking to what they're philosophy is and continuing what they're doing. Teams keep trying to make these epic moves and big time homerun moves while Golden State reloads with small moves and stay consistent. He was saying this mostly in response to the LeBron/Houston discussion, I think it also applies to Boston. What they have works, we've seen that they've hit on these pieces. Why keep looking to make these epic moves and looking at moving Kyrie or Brown or Tatum when you can make other smaller moves that could make the team better?Comment

Re: 2017-2018 Off-Season Thread
He's got some pretty good leverage because despite the injury this year, he is still considered an elite player and has that player option for next season so he can just play out a year with the Spurs right now or if they trade him somewhere he doesn't want play out a year there.

Re: 2017-2018 Off-Season Thread
I'm sure they could get much better in return, but it's actually not a bad trade for them if other teams are worried of him not signing. Especially with him wanting out.
8th pick is better than where he was drafted anyways lol.
Thompson is the ideal big to pair alongside LA, Hill would be good for them with Parker and maybe Manu on the outs, Clarkson could likely start for them or assume Manu's old roll.
Cavs could take back the awful Patty Mills contract, rid them of Gasol or Green's money as well.Comment

I was all about some Brown for Kawhi, but Brown played better than I expected come playoff time. I just don't know if it's worth it. If Kawhi commits to Boston and says he'll stay then it's something I would consider,Comment

Re: 2017-2018 Off-Season Thread
Maybe this was already discussed, but why is no one discussing the following:
a) If Kawhi's injury was so bad that he couldn't play this year at all, shouldn't teams be worried about his health going forward?
b) If his injury wasn't that bad, shouldn't teams be worried about the fact he refused to play?
I dunno...you guys are all throwing out these trade ideas like he's a sure fire thing to return to his previous form, but I see red flags.
