Chris Mannix is reporting that the Sacramento Kings are a team to keep an eye on to try to trade for Kawhi; presumably including the #2 pick in the draft.

You think this at first but the Spurs have little leverage right now and Leonard is at the lowest value of his career right now.

So whatever the hell Boston offered at the deadline it looks like the Spurs should have taken it.

Based on the little info we are currently working off of, I would imagine the Lakers at minimum have to beat an offer of Tobias Harris, #12, and #13 picks. Randle isn't remotely close. And that's assuming that a team like Boston doesn't try to get involved with a Kyrie-based offer like I mentioned before.

It seems like, at minimum, the Clippers and Lakers will have to compete with each other for Kawhi. The Lakers will almost certainly have to trade at least one of Ingram/Kuzma as the centerpiece of a deal here, which would automatically rule Randle out due to the sign-and-trade rules.

Vni is either sleeping or grabbing bottles of Hennessy from tourists.

Either way, he won't be coherent tonight.

Rumor is that it was Jaylen Brown, the Kings pick, and cap filler, which will most likely be better than anything they get now

If he just met with Pop what happened?

I’m all for Kawhi joining LeBron and possibly PG on the Lakers. Let’s make that happen.

No. We don’t need Kawhi devaluing next year’s Sacramento pick.

If that happens, how often do you think we will hear that three 3s won't work?

I'm sure every fanbase would be fine with internal conflict if they got like 4 or 5 championships in about 2 decades leading up to that.
