Bradley Beal could have likely been traded for honestly for much less than the AD move. but I do think all this dies now that the noise is gone, most of it was probably made up **** anyways if we are being real. Davis said from day 1 he didn't demand a trade, didn't give a list of teams, didn't give them a Lakers ultimatum, didn't give them a time table, and wants to play for them this season if he wasn't moved..

A lot of the noise was likely your typical Laker or LeBron noise but amplified because those two things are now one.

I understand AD getting Laker fans hopes up..but this season was never supposed to be THE season was it? Take a knee an prepare for the summer.

They should at least be able to make a run to the playoffs and get destroyed by GSW. If the young bucks cant pull it together after trade rumors then that probably tells you what you need to know about them.

Maybe the Lakers will learn to make their trade discussions more private next time. Most of the time these things fall through when it's so public.

Its going to be all about this offseason if lakers dont add a star/superstar this offseason they are going to be in trouble. If they dont they are going to have to hope BI and Kuzma can become stars or other wise they are only going to be like a 8-10 in the west next year. If they dont get a star/superstar this offseason but are able to get AD has a FA in 2020 they will be a some what higher team in 2020-2021 season but will most likely still not be a championship contender un less BI and Kuzma become stars or they get like a surprise draft stud has AD and James would most likely not be enough with out like a 3erd star.

Eh, I think it's extremely far-fetched to call the season over for a LeBron-team.

At the end of the day, these kids are professionals and they gotta play. It's easy to say this will absolutely destroy their season given how bad the Pacers loss was, but that's in the past now. Now that they're all still together post-deadline, maybe they rally and come together.

Either way, it's far too soon to write off a LeBron-team, especially a LeBron-team that was 4th in the WC and I believe less than 2 games back from 1st when he got hurt.

Yeah this year was supposed to be about seeing what they have and even if they had gotten AD James and AD with not much around them would not be enough to really compete. If they do make the playoffs and yes they get killed I dont that it is like complete pointless has it would give the young guys playoff experience at least.

There was a rumor of a three team deal early on in the AD stuff between the Pels, Lakers, and Wizards. The Pel's wanted Beal and Ingram, Lakers AD and the Wizards Ball, Kuzma and picks. They said that the Wizards were so uninterested that they didn't even counter.

Also, I'm still saying that AD doesn't play for the Pel's again. There's no benefit for the him, the Pel's or the league in him playing in meaningless games. If AD or the league really forces their hand then if I'm the Pel's I put him in the starting lineup just so he can get boo'ed, then sit him the rest of the game, except for maybe garbage time. His ego won't allow that too long before a mysterious season-ending injury pop's up.

After seeing the way the Pel's trolled the Lakers, I have faith in them to do the right thing with AD, as well.

I was not high on trading for AD and no this season was not to win it all. It was to build something new and it feels like it was all for nothing and the team completely fell apart. Injuries, trade talks, and personally I'am not a fan of how LBJ handled that. Overall just a terrible environement. And now out of the blue we trade Zubac... to replace beasley with Melo ? Ok I don't get it but whatever.
