Lakers interested in FA Markieff Morris if he's healthy.

That's the kind of dude the Lakers could use. I'd favor that signing over Melo for sure

Yea Morris would be a lot better fit then Melo and he also has toughness which is needed come playoff time.

I can really think of Markieffs game, is it similar to his brothers?

They're pretty similar. Markieff has better regular season career averages, Marcus has better playoff averages. I think Marcus is a better 3 point shooter though.

Limited 3 point shooting - he prefers the corners. He can hit the big shots as he has done multiple times for Washington in the past. Decent mid-range game and can be utilized fairly well with post-ups especially when he's "bullheaded." Defense can be slow on rotations, but he's tough down-low despite some rebounding problems. Probably not the brightest as far as BBIQ and certainly lets his emotions control his mouth and attitude. He definitely adds a toughness to any squad he is on (for better or for worse).

              2018-19 Transaction Thread

Are we talking about the Keef we’ve seen this year or from the past? I’m assuming it’s the past version.

If it’s the current version, I’m not sure why anyone would want him at this point(name recognition is the only one I can think of).

Nets fans were clamoring for him too before that argument got shut down due to the overwhelming evidence showing that’s he not good anymore and he’s not healthy.

In other words, he stinks right now and you can do a lot better. Would’ve been nice if they could get his brother instead.

As far as I know he was struggling with injuries this year and was rotating between starting and coming off the bench. He was definitely one of the (many) problems this season.

I highly doubt if/when the Knicks strike out on the top players they throw money at Jimmy.

They just traded away a younger guy with an injury history and culture problems.

I would rather max out Harrison Barnes than Jimmy Butler tbh.

Would the Spurs consider buying out Pau? Maybe we can finally have the Gasol brothers together.

If this is how Raptors fans and the organization might think Kawhi needs to book a flight outta Toronto as soon as the season is over

Just looking at all possible buyout options. They need to add 3-4 more guys within next 2 weeks, 1 of which is a big man. Would rather just get a vet in buyout market over a G-League guy.

Supposedly the hawks will not buy out Lin / Dedman which I don't really believe, but that's the company line. I think if they ask for it they will grant it.

I wonder how much of the "nope Butler" talk is more about his injury history and age than the rumored attitude problems.
