Ben Simmons has one of the rarer skillsets that the NBA has ever seen.
It rivals that of Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson, so it would make sense that the Philadelphia 76ers forward wants to learn from Johnson. Prior to Sunday's game between the Lakers and Sixers, Johnson revealed that Simmons wants to be mentored by him in the offseason and Johnson would be willing to share his knowledge if the league signs off on it.
Basically the league is trying to see if he had contact with Ben.
I mean how did he know Ben wants to work out with him, is probably one of the important questions but Elton Brand, at least what he knows of doesnt see any foul play.
...but at this point them being associated with Rich Paul and anything that looks funny will be looked at from now on.Comment

It's business as usual for Magic. Rumors had been swirling around summer 2017 that Magic had a meeting with LeBron at Summer League. Now he's trying to have another meeting with Ben Simmons?Shrugs

League has got to get control of this dude. Either he needs to break up with the Lakers *would be good for the Lakers*, or he needs to stop this farce.

Some are off the thought that this was shut down by Brand who said no, weeks ago but Magic brought it back up on national TV.
