and just to add.. NBA deadline, offseason, at home viewing, and live game experience is all better than the NFL's, in my opinion.

Exactly. r/Lakers is most toxic of toxic places on the internet and holy **** do they overrate the **** out of all Lakers, but Zubac especially.

The Lakers traded away 3 non-shooters and a rookie who wasn't ready for 2 shooters and an open roster spot.

They have more floor spacing now, which is what LeBron teams need, especially this one. Now Bron, Ingram, Ball, Rondo, and Kuzma will have more space to operate cause you can't leave Mike alone. This of course assumes Luke puts out a competent lineup out on the floor, which is something he hasn't done consistently and instead has run lineups of Rondo, Ingram, Lance, and LeBron all on the floor at the same time.

If the Lakers wanted to put together a squad to fit around LeBron ball they could have done it in the off-season instead of signing a bunch of players who don't fit. Ironically enough zubac fit perfectly with LeBron

A lot of the noise was likely your typical Laker or LeBron noise but amplified because those two things are now one.

LOL Robin Lopez on the Niko Mirotic trade having some fun at his brother's expense.

"I feel bad for Niko. He has to play with Brookie. You know what's even worse? He already got the superior experience of playing with me. And now he has to go and play with Brook. It's like living in Fresno and having to move to Clovis."

Now that they're all still together post-deadline, maybe they rally and come together.
I'm pretty sure the entire situation is not in the past though, at least for any Laker not named LeBron lol. Very curious to see how these young, fragile kids bounce back. Also interesting to see if they bring in any bought out vets; that could test their chemistry even more.

“Typical Laker” noise? What is that?

And what makes you think the Wizards were interested in moving Beal?

Yeah we'll see what they're made of; if they can't handle it, then maybe the lights are too bright for them and NOLA was right for not wanting them. If they are as good as some Lakers fans like to rate them, then they should bounce back.
