Re: 2018-19 Transaction Thread
Per Marc Stein
The four teams Porzingis had on his wish list of trade destinations were the Nets, Los Angeles Clippers, Miami Heat and Toronto Raptors, according to two people with knowledge of the list who were not authorized to discuss it publicly.#RespectTheCultureComment

Zach Lowe on KP wanting out, from the Lowe Post
Originally posted by Zach LoweI don’t think he was psyched about playing with Durant. Durant is going to the Knicks. Don't know if Kyrie joins him but I see KD in NY next year. He cares way too much what people think about him and what better place to try and redeem yourself and become the ultimate hero other than in NY?Comment

The NY media isn't nearly as bad as it's reputed to be, especially now that Isola is gone from the Post.Comment

Re: 2018-19 Transaction Thread
Isola was at the Daily News before the layoffs, he would be disgusted for you saying he worked at the Post with Marc Berman, who followed the horned snake to Dallas for his opening press conference and was basically shut down by Mark Cuban. Isola's now at the Athletic, where he continues to **** talk the Knicks, and has been replaced by his sidekick, Stefan Bondy at the DN, who basically simultaneously kicked up all the stuff that made Kyrie get mad and the stuff that made KD start hiding from the media.
I think they earn their reputation.Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it

Re: 2018-19 Transaction Thread
I have a hard time understanding why KD would want to leave GS. Maybe he legitimately feels that his "legacy" won't reach the peaks he thinks it should as long as people consider his current path the "easy road"... But then again it's not like he couldn't have not known that before he went there in the first place right?
I wonder how going to NY changes that though. He's only 30 still and could put together another probably 4-6 year run for competing for chips as the best player on a contender, but how is that going to change anyone's perception if he fails? Especially if Golden State is still better than his team. He seems to care a bit to much about the media and outside opinion, and has openly stated how toxic it is the way it follows LeBron, how would he deal with something similar shifting on him?Comment

Re: 2018-19 Transaction Thread
I said back in the summer that he was leaving(Think me and King have a wager on this too).
I just get the whole “Going from the worst team in the league to the worst team in the league” thing, especially from someone who has said “I just wanna win and play ball and not deal with the outside BS”#RespectTheCultureComment

Anyway, IF it were true, who told Porzingis and the Knicks management KD was coming there?
That would definitely warrant some tampering investigationLast edited by 23; 02-22-2019, 07:23 PM.Comment

Re: 2018-19 Transaction Thread
Maybe it was KD that just told KP that he’d like to team up with him and just assuming it would be with the Knicks since that is where KP was at the time. If that’s the case then there was no tampering.
My question is, if that was the case and KD is interested in playing with KP would he still consider doing that in Dallas? He did mention the other day (out of nowhere) that he’s glad KP was able to get to a better situation for him in Dallas. Would he actually consider Dallas? They can pay him and besides KP they do have a budding superstar that will get him the ball in Luka.Comment
