Re: 2018-19 Transaction Thread
I'm assuming just spelling Splash for the run. We really don't have a backup center for Splash, just Illyosova and Niko currently. I'm not saying he's going to start playing 15 to 20 minutes a night, either.
He's 38 and had a stress fracture this season, his minutes and scoring are way down. The stress fracture caused him to miss a bit over 40% of the games this year.
He can offer championship expertise in the locker room, the Bucks have 0 of that.Last edited by roadman; 03-01-2019, 06:55 PM.Comment

I don't see how he is based on what he hasn't done for the Spurs this year, but maybe a change of scenery will do him good. He was awful this year, though. Thankfully, he's been racking up DNP-CDs lately. I'm glad the Spurs finally bought him out, though.Comment

I’ll just go ahead and answer that for them. Nope, don’t waste your time Atlanta. Just focus on drafting well and your rebuild.

They sound like us during Marks/Atkinson’s first year.
Shoot your shot, Atlanta.#RespectTheCultureComment

If Atlanta were to add big name on the wing they would be right in the mix IMO.. Trae, Collins, Huerter are looking legit right now.
They’ll need a big man if they don’t hang on to Dedmon though.
Chicago in that situation too with Porter, LaVine, Lauri..

Re: 2018-19 Transaction Thread
Except they just blew their cap space by bringing in Porter and already conceding that they weren't going to be in on any big names. If they could have gotten a KD or Kawhi or Kyrie or Cousins then yeah they'd be interesting with whatever they get out of the draft. But that's not happening. Maybe if they can get someone to take Dunn off their hands and shoot their shot at Kemba?Comment

Sadly this is the reason we refused to take on long term $ and get draft picks Just nobody wants to admit. I mean the only big name FA that I could see even half way looking at us would be if we overpaid Jimmy Butler.
