The Knicks may very well get Kyrie and/or Zion this offseason. That's a very real possibility. But I will never not believe that Kevin Durant is leaving the Warriors. I don't know why so many people keep kicking around this scenario where KD possibly signs with their team this offseason. Dude is NOT leaving Golden State. The Warriors as currently constructed as far as their big names will not look the same at this time next year but you can bank on the fact that three things that will be the same there is Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson. You can quote me on that one.

I’m not saying that wasn’t an offer but it’s funny how the lowball one is the one that leaked. I think either someone in Pelicans/Celtics, leaked this info to make LA look bad so Pelicans can say they’ll just wait till the summer.



We’ve went from they haven’t talked & Pelicans not picking up, to Magic sent in 100 different trades to this lowball offer.

According to some, woj has an agenda and did it because he's not as connected to the Lakers inside.

I don't buy it but it does make you wonder

Nope, I’m a Mavs fan. I just think that Kyrie will end up with the Lakers along with AD. Also I think KD (if he leaves Golden State) is not going to want to be the lone star on a rebuilding team. Kawhi seems destined for the Clippers, maybe KD joins him there?

Saw something about this back when Lonzo’s camp said he preferred a 3rd team. Said they envision Jrue as a shooting guard and want to pair him with a point guard. Tough to argue after the year he had last year playing alongside Rondo.

He's honestly a big strong guard worth keeping. I think Harden gave him props last week for the way he plays defense. Even without the shine, he's definitely not a piece of junk.

I’d say no to that too.

If I’m NO, all of their young guys need to be on the table along with some picks just to get me to think about trading AD to LA.

Yeah for them to decide on not waiting it has to be something they can’t refuse. At the same time if I’m the Lakers I’m probably not willing to trade Lonzo, Kuz, Ingram in a package. 2 of them maybe, not all 3.

Lakers might as well cough up as many picks as they can. They won’t be using them.

This was why I wanted Paul George so badly instead of LeBron. Despite any statements that were made in the Summer, Bron was always going to create a win now mentality in the fan base and more importantly the organization.



I hope the young players can still stay focused and produce when the AD deal doesn't happen and they have to deal with the reality and the non stop questions about management being willing to get rid of all of them.

I think this would have been their plan regardless. Trying to get back to competing for chips and landing big names. You do have to wonder if the noise gets to these guys or the opposite and lights a fire under them.. time will tell.

Considering the type of player I’m losing and what I’m getting back(neither of them will replace Davis’ impact), Lakers aren’t in a position to be stingy.

You want a young, elite player on your team so y’all can satisfy Bron, then they pay the appropriate price. Otherwise, miss out on getting another elite player just like they did with George and possibly Kawhi.
