Anyway Woj reporting that the Cavaliers have agreed to trade Rodney Hood to the Blazers for Nik Stauskas, Wade Bladwin and 2 future second round picks.

Don’t know if y’all have seen this anywhere or not, especially you reddit guys..
Apparently a deal has been agree to send Lonzo to the Suns. Believed to be a 3 team deal with the AD trade. Apparently articles breaking the news had already been posted and deleted. I guess waiting on this to become official..
Not sure how true it is. I guess it was a Suns sports site that posted and then quickly deleted the article.

Just playing with trade machine, Lakers could send about any package with two picks to the Pelicans as long as it had Rondo or KCP along with TJ Warren from the Suns. Suns would receive Lonzo and the Solomon Hill contract. Lakers would get Davis from NO and Troy Daniels from Phoenix.
Depending on how bad Phoenix wants Lonzo would surprise me if a future first from them was also included. That would land the Pelicans with 3 first round picks, and a good crop of young talent.
Just making **** up at this point, but that works money wise and gets rid of the Hill contract.

What I read made it sound like it was yesterday, so idk about that. Could have easily just been some misinformed Suns writer who saw a proposed trade that worked and took it as an actual trade by mistake.

The headline read*“SKELETON: Lakers trade point guard Lonzo Ball to the Suns.”Naturally, this caused quite the flurry among fans of Ball and the Lakers, especially considering arizonasports.com is regarded as a credible news source.
Some have speculated that it’s because a trade is actually in the works and while that is certainly possible, there is actually a much easier explanation as to why that story was posted.
On Thursday,*Tania Ganguli of the Los Angeles Times*reported that the Suns and Ball have*“mutual interest”*in a trade. This report came a few days after Ball’s camp leaked that they would*prefer to go to a thirdteam if Ball was included in a trade for Anthony Davis.
Given that information, a writer at Arizona Sports might have felt it was a good idea to have a prewritten report — or the SKELETON of a story — in the event that Ball was traded to the Suns before the NBA trade deadline on Feb. 7. In other words, someone posted that story on accident and likely got a talking to because of it.
One come to this conclusion by simply reading the first sentence of the story that was posted, which read:
The Phoenix Suns have found their point guard. The Suns on acquired Lonzo Ball from the Los Angeles Lakers in exchange for , according to .
As one can see, the writer left empty spaces in the story to fill in the blanks for who was involved and who reported it.
While the Lakers and Suns could very well be engaged in trade talks involving Lonzo Ball, this story shouldn’t be taken as a sign that a trade is imminent. In other words, Ball is safe until an actual report comes out and says otherwise.Comment
