Vlade Divac is pushing to consolidate his power as Kings top basketball executive, seriously weighing dismissal of coach Dave Joerger, league sources tell ESPN. Divac/Joerger set for meeting today. Joerger led Kings young core to a 39 win season. He has a year left on deal.

Bad Franchises always find ways to mess up something good when they’re trying to become good SMH

I think Luke would be a solid hire for Sacramento. I still dont know what to make of him as a coach, but I'd like to see how he would do with a talented young core.

Luke has a young core right now. The exception in the west is a little crazy lol.

I just don't get it with these teams. I thought Dave was doing an outstanding job coaching these young guys. It's not like they were at the bottom of the league. Every night this team fought.

Marc Jackson had the Warriors playing defense and doing a great job with them as young guys then he was let go.

The Athletic using my sub money to pay Isola was the last straw. Don't trust any of them.

On a serious note, Ian Begley is leaving ESPN NY for SNY so we'll have a new ESPN guy next year. Will be interesting to see how that plays out, the people need Chris Herring.
