Re: 2018-19 Transaction Thread
Tobias Harris is a nice get for Philly. I was hoping they would could swing a PG like Conley or Lowry. That's what they need, imo. I just dont think Simmons works as a full time PG with his shooting deficiencies.

Re: 2018-19 Transaction Thread
Why would I include them? Lonzo is a top 10 PG in rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, he's a legitimate first-team level defender, his assists per possessions are on par with guys Giannis, DinWiddie, ahead of someone like Luka, all while sharing so much usage with LeBron...
Ingram is also a plus level defender, and his per 36 is ahead of someone like Wiggins in points, rebounds, assists, blocks, FG%, offensive rating, defensvie rating, PER, TS%... Also while splitting that usage with Bron, Lonzo, Rondo, Kuzma, etc..
Why would they be included with a majority list of guys that could never crack a line-up, some who couldn't even stay in the league?Comment

Lol....
The*Boston Celtics*might be prepared to go to great lengths to land*New Orleans Pelicansstar Anthony Davis when they're eligible to acquire the six-time All-Star this summer.
On Wednesday,*Adam Himmelsbach*of the*Boston Globe*reported*the Celtics "have made it clear that they will be ready and willing to offer an explosive package when the time arrives, and that no specific player will be off-limits in negotiations."Comment

Re: 2018-19 Transaction Thread
Suns have to be making another move. Oubre and Bridges would both be intriguing young pieces to throw a pick at. Ellington or Crawford would make a nice bench piece for a playoff team. Philly could jump on any of those guys. Even Troy Daniels since they are shooter deprived. Houston could use a bench boost as well. J-Crossover is their type of guy.Last edited by ojandpizza; 02-06-2019, 05:52 PM.Comment

Re: 2018-19 Transaction Thread
Literally just read they wouldn't commit to including Tatum, but he's also not completely off the table lol.. If Boston includes Tatum I think the Pelicans are wrong for not taking that, even if New York has Zion or whoever has a top 2-3 pick.Comment

Re: 2018-19 Transaction Thread
At what point does it make sense though? Wouldn't the Celtics eventually end up being the Pelicans?"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. Re: 2018-19 Transaction Thread
Sucks to see Marc go, and I know he's not happy about going either, he's been in Memphis since high school.. But I do think he and Kemba would be fun to watch, and hopefully get to see him play for a playoff team again.
Was really hoping Malik was somehow in the deal. I'm not all that high on him, but that's right next to where he grew up. Every game would be like a hometown type of game for him and the fans. Would have been cool to watch the reception he got there.Comment

No matter how things get in Boston they will never go known as the Pelicans or play in something called the Smoothie King Arena so we good.Comment
