All I know is if they try to fix this somehow before Rich Kleiman brings KD to the Knicks, we're protesting outside the NBA HQ like Occupy Wallstreet.

If those Uncles and Brothers were strong arming teams into trading other players, while said players were out there tweeting "get it done" and other stuff then I would agree.

Anyway, still looking but if this is true

The Raptors have offered Kyle Lowry and Jonas Valanciunas to the Grizzlies for Mike Conley and Marc Gasol, via @JakeLFischer.

They still offering Rich "I'm going to run the Knicks one day" Kleiman that FO position if he pulls it off? lol

Also, I love that deal for the Raptors, but it doesn't do anything for the Grizz does it? Thought they were trying to save money.

TL;DR: Knicks working this most of January, were talking to Mavericks about a THJ-Wesley Matthews swap so both teams knew their rosters, Mavs have been obsessed with KP for a few years, Janis "Must think his last name is Antetokounmpo to be talking this reckless" Porzingis gave the Knicks a list of 4 teams Porzginis would be willing to be traded to, Nets and Clippers were on the list, not the Mavs.

NO playing hardball is exactly what they should be doing, honestly. The franchise has had two top 10 players in its history and they should be looking for whatever they can to build a contender. The Lakers have gone into this with too much arrogance and thinking that they can get NO to bend just because they’re the Lakers.

The risk for NO is that Davis can just walk next year and they get nothing in return. I doubt they’ll care too much, they’ll just rank and hoard draft picks for a couple years and recycle. Their best hope is being terrible for a while anyway and picking well in the drafts because no free agents are looking to go to New Orleans so they have to do it organically.

With all that said, I don’t see AD being a Pelican at the start of next season, whether it’s a rental or he gets the move he wants.

I can't imagine that Lowry and Valanciunas interest Memphis, but if Toronto adds some of their young pieces like Anunoby into the mix, I could see this having some sort of legs.

Lakers pull their offer off the table. Lakers offer won't be as good this offseason, Yadda, yadda, yadda. With every negative rumor like this Ainge is one step closer to being able to pull Tatum out of the deal.

The benefit for Memphis would be that JV might decline his option if he doesn't want to be there, while Gasol would have likely accepted his. If JV takes the money though, I don't see this as begin much more than just a lateral at best move but losing players that the fans love. Either way Memphis gets a bit closer to clearing off all it's cap space a year sooner, Conley has a longer deal than Lowry I believe.

I do think JV would actually get utilized in Memphis, and it would be interesting to see how he would look when he was actually getting lots of looks coming his way. He's had a few monster games the past couple of years for Toronto when they actually force him the ball. I like Marc, but his days of being a guy you can dump the ball to all game long have really diminished over the past couple of seasons. And he's a step too slow to work the pick and roll as effectively as he once did. Still has one of the smoothest shooting strokes in the league though on those fades.
