I’m not surprised because he’s never really looked all that engaged with the team since he’s been here. Hopefully, he can thrive in Houston but I’m not holding my breath.
It was just a matter of when.

Ian Eagle mentioned the other day that he was the only Net who wasn’t “All In” with the team. And when Ian says something about us, his words carry weight.

We seen this coming a mile away, bro.

People shouldn't say that the Lakers are the favorite to land Melo. That word should be saved for getting someone good. Everyone should be saying that we're the most likely victim to completely tank team chemistry.Jordan Mychal Lemos

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

Re: 2018-19 Transaction Thread
Per Woj
The Rockets are aggressively working to find a trade for the exiled Carmelo Anthony before Monday's 5 p.m. ET deadline to clear a roster spot for Faried, league sources said. The Rockets will need to trade a player to a team with an open roster spot, or waive a player, before signing Faried. The team has no intention of waiving Anthony, league sources told ESPN. It is possible for Houston to hold off on signing Faried to find a way to create the roster spot, but there's a need to get him into the team's depleted frontcourt as soon as Monday night against the 76ers.
The cleanest solution to the Rockets clearing a roster spot without a trade is releasing James Nunnally five days early from his 10-day contract. The contract signed on Jan. 16 is set to expire Jan. 25. Nunnally would not need to be waived.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: 2018-19 Transaction Thread
Really not sure how much Faried helps Houston.. I mean if Nene and Chriss are damn near un-playable what do they expect to get from Faried?
As for the Melo thing, I'm still not sure if I buy the whole going to the Lakers rumors. If he does though I don't see him being some chemistry ruining experiment. I'm assuming he won't be as worried about playing time/touches now that it seems nobody wants him, which would make him a good replacement for Beasley's role. I'm sure he would get a good amount of burn on those nights that Ingram or Kuz want to shoot about 10% from the field. Not sure what all Melo has in his tank, but he might actually make a decent rotation 4-man for Kuzman. Kuz also doesn't play much defense and he really doesn't rebound all that well, at one point in time Melo was solid on the boards.. I guess we'll see. Have to wonder what his effort and engagement would look like with his buddy LeBron in his ear.
Also not sure on how trading Melo clears a spot for them. Wouldn't they have to waive whatever they get in return? Why not just waive Melo if that's the case?Comment

Re: 2018-19 Transaction Thread
So Woj is reporting that the Rockets have agreed to trade Carmelo Anthony and cash to the Bulls.
I’m 1000% certain that they’ll waive Carmelo and pocket the cash for Jerry to try to throw at Machado because the Bulls have basically become his bankroll for his **** hole of a baseball team.

Sources: The Lakers maintain interest in Anthony, but do not want to waive a guaranteed player to create a roster spot for him, league sources tell ESPN. If a roster spot eventually opens with LA, yes, the Lakers are a possible destination for Anthony.
Man the vision for LA changed so much in one year.Comment

Stay the course LA and pass on him. Don’t let him being BFFs with Lebron fool ya’ll into giving him a job.#RespectTheCultureComment

Man if they really wanted to tank, they'd let Me7o start, run the offense through him and tell him he's the new leader of the team.Comment
