I don't see any reason he can't at least put up the numbers he did on GS last year, if not slightly better, which is a steal for the $2-3 mil he's making.

Regardless, the point still stands that you get analyzed more when you lose versus when you win. "Boogie is washed, Steph Curry isn't clutch, etc".
again I think he's a solid value for the contract they gave him but his decencies weren't covered up by playing next to probably the best in the world in Draymond maybe a much worse defender will help. I think the getting in better shape will help him in not getting gassed like he was in the Finals.

as a rotational big He'll be v useful. It's expecting much more than that where my concern lies.

So what is Jared Dudley seeing? Everything I've read on the net says Pat Bev is an elite defender (he graded average) and everything I've read said Bradley is "washed" or "not an elite defender anymore"

Here's the thing, this isn't like some hypothetical Jordan vs LeBron, Shaq vs Kareem argument. During this upcoming season we'll get to see what's what, no guesswork involved.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Still hard to believe to me that Kevin Durant ruptured his achilies. Just a reminder to appreciate great players while they're healthy cause it can end just like that. Hopefully he recovers but that injury most likely ended his prime.

True or not, I expect it went something like that.

The Nets had no incentive to help the Warriors other than helping Russell go where he wanted to play.

A swap of KD for Russell only benefited the Warriors as the Nets could have simply signed KD without going through the trouble.

I know I've seen others mention that the Nets threw some salaries at the Warriors but those salaries were small. The Nets could have sent those salaries elsewhere like the Warriors eventually did.

It's the time where fans just know all the players and their families are strong arming the GMs and telling them what to do.

KD leveraged Bob Meyers for what he did.

Yh sux. One of my fav players. Really hope he can come back strong cuz its definitely a tough injury. I could see it ending his prime though.

It's official. Marcus Morris reneges on the Spurs and is signing a 1 year deal with the Knicks for $15M

Meanwhile Shams reports that the Spurs will sign Trey Lyles to a two year deal

Not a good look for Morris at all and honestly very short sighted. Signing a 1 year deal that will net him 5 million dollars more than what he would have gotten total for 2 years with the Spurs can't possibly be worth the hit his reputation is going to take moving forward. God help him if he gets hurt this season.

Forward Marcus Morris tells @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium on reopening his free agency and signing with the Knicks on a one-year, $15M deal: “I had to make this decision based on the best situation for me and my family. This is no knock on the Spurs. I have respect for them.”
