Re: 2019 Offseason Thread
Just for the record, I'm with you OJ.
A healthy Lakers team is better than a healthy Clippers team last year. Kawhi with a healthy Lakers team would be a tougher go than a healthy Clippers team with Kawhi.Comment

Re: 2019 Offseason Thread
There are ton's of reasons for Kawhi to chose the Clippers over the Lakers however, I think that's obvious with everything going on in Laker world right now. From top to bottom like 23 said. But on the floor I don't even see how someone could argue against that. Any team with LeBron+Kawhi is an instant contender next season.Comment

Re: 2019 Offseason Thread
As far as im concerned we were talking about what Free Agents should consider when looking to join a team this summer and specifically LA.
From top to bottom the Clippers look better. More competent management, a ticked off Jerry West, a better coach, a group of guys who play for each other and consistently play defense, max cap space slots, and a richer owner who wants to win.
Nobody is stupid at thinking that's a better opportunity. Injuries happen, Clippers had injured players too, and even had trash Avery Bradley playing big minutes half the season.Comment

Re: 2019 Offseason Thread
I mean, no player is ever gonna say "I would love to play for ___" if they aren't already on the team. I've never heard a player say "I'm on the Celtics but I'd love to play for the Lakers/Knicks/Clippers" it just wouldnt make sense unless the player is begging to get fined or burn bridges. That's why all we have is hearsay.Comment

Re: 2019 Offseason Thread
Boy OJ you a trip. I really wish LeBron never got hurt last year cause y'all dudes cling to that 1/2 game seed like it was the end all be all. They literally only needed to lose 2 games to fall all the way to 8th or 9th in the conference and injury or not they're chemistry issues were going to happen with the optics of LeBron and Magic trying to trade half the squad for AD. Even despite all that LeBron came back in enough time get that team to the playoffs and it STILL didn't happen. Period. End of story.
But beyond that. You're funny, I literally came at you during the year because I had to listen to y'all riding Bron jock for 9 years that you could put LeBron on ANY team in the league and he'd carry them to the playoffs. Not him and another star, not him and any additions, but to ANY team in the league as they were constructed yes even trash like the Kings during that timeframe. Then when the time came to prove that mess, your tune changed to injuries and how LeBron is old now and not his young self from that time, but now you're trying to tell us that a 35 year old LeBron who has suffered the first major injury and real missed time of his career on a dysfunctional team is better than Kawhi teaming with Gallo, Lou Will, a dog defender like Beverly and 61 million dollars in cap space and we're stupid to think otherwise? Yeah okay OJ. Okay.Comment

Re: 2019 Offseason Thread
He wasn't saying the situation with the Lakers is better.
He repeatedly stated that the Lakers would be a more dangerous team with Kawhi and LeBron than the Clippers with Kawhi and Lou Williams. LolComment

Re: 2019 Offseason Thread
But that’s still disregarding the fact that the Clippers have enough cap space to sign Kawhi and another superstar. So if Kawhi signs there it’s likely with the idea that they’re getting someone else.
