I really like Philly’s top 7/8 guys and the starting line up should work. They are going to need to improve the bench somehow during the year.

Like what I've seen so far. Just wish Embiid wouldn't get trigger happy if he gets a little space from 3pt.

Always love Marcus Smart's effort. He knows his role and a player that every team wants

Tobas is such a better fit at the 4 with this group then having to play the 3 some like he did last year. I still say he is going to have a big year.

Yea he does that a little to much for my liking also.

I liked what I saw from Shake and Maxey. Outside of Ben and Joel, those two will be important for us. We need Shake to be that 6MOY type of player and need that type of energy each night from Maxey. Maxey has the natural explosion and ability to beat someone off the dribble to get to rim

If Shake can Improve and really be the 6th man that scores off the bench that would be huge. I wasn’t expecting much from maxey right away he impressed. I don’t think he gets a lot of minutes on game 1 with the limited preseason games. It may not take long till you just throw him out and see how he does with the camera is on.

I'm not going to overreact. especially with no Theis/TT. Teague/Prichard looked solid. Grant Should play 20+ minutes nightly. Also Javonte should be in the rotation over Semi.

the one thing i will say it was very noticeable the wing depth is not great and they are really going to need that trade exception to add someone.

Hilarious. Seems like there's a yearly "fat Harden" pic.

Harden just seems like one of those guys that will never look in shape...but he's always a top 5 MPG guy and never looks tired on the court.

My instant reaction was the same thing Boston took a step back from last year. I still expect them to be a top 4 seed. I just don't see this season ending in a championship. Kemba really needs to come back and be healthy and play well as I wouldn't expect to get that from Teague every night unless he wasn't trying in Atlanta last year.

Agreed. Teague was great and I really liked what I saw out of Pritchard. I loved the Edwards pick last year and I was really stoked when he went off in the preseason last year... but after a year of seeing him play, he's really just a SG (who can't shoot) in an undersized PG's body. Pritchard's ball-handling and passing is so much better than Edwards. Edward is probably lucky that the rosters are getting expanded so he can hang on for another year.

I love Grant. The announcers like to talk about how he missed his first 25 three's but they don't mention how he hit almost 60% (10-17) of his three's in the playoffs last year. I still have hope that he will become a "Draymond-Lite" with better shooting. I also think he should be getting 20+ minutes a game and possibly even start (at least until Kemba comes back).

Nesmith looked okay in what I saw from him, as well. I didn't know too much about him other than he supposed to be a knock-down shooter. Seeing him battle for rebounds and get a block was nice. I'd like to see him start in the final preseason game so we can see how he plays next to the Jay's and Smart.

I think Danny sees what he has in Nesmith, Langford, and Javonte early in the season, then makes a move to use in TPE closer to the deadline. There are quite a few teams should that be looking to dump players once they're out of playoff contention.

This team will go as far as the Jays will take them. My initial reaction is that they will be worse without Hayward but they usually played better without him so I guess we'll see if that holds true this season.

I think the team really improved outside of that though TT > Kanter, Teague > Wanamaker, and Pritchard > Edwards/Waters. Some other teams in the East should be better, as well so i think 4-5 seed will be around where the team ends up. It just all depends on the Jays and if/when the TPE gets used.
