Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever. -

That's why I would take it in a second lol. Raptors would not take that deal especially if it includes Harris. Like I said, that deal fills the major needs we have.Comment

Re: 2021-22 NBA Trade Deadline
The logjam you cite would be used as part of a deal to improve those areas.
Wizards have two main issues
1. They need a reliable scorer in the half court.
2. This team has way too many slow/missed rotations or defensive breakdowns. They need someone that can be a defensive leader and communicate. Veteran bigman that may not show up on the boxscore much but makes the team better.
Both of those will be hard to get with the assets available to them, so yeah their issues go beyond trade deadline dealsComment

Center and backcourt is the issue.

Idk how this team got so sloppy on that end compared to how they looked in the first 2 months of the season. Harrell was that guy early on but he checked out for whatever reason. Spence tried to be that guy but he got tuned out real quick.
Locker Room is a mess and WUJ is showing exactly why he’s a rookie HC.#RespectTheCultureComment

They do have to decide whether they want to commit to the 5 yr $270M extension or contemplate moving on. If they commit to it, then they have to fully commit on going all in because I do see him asking for a trade the following year. There's only 3 teams that will have decent cap space, so it's not like you'll have to worry about him walking. But, I don't think they want to deal with a S&T situation either because you'll end up it a with a deal that is just matching salariesComment

Pack what’s up with these ‘the locker room wants Dinwiddie gone’ reports I been seeing the last day or so? When did things go that far left? Not often you see basically the locker room hates a dude in the NBA

Re: 2021-22 NBA Trade Deadline
Doug Smith (reporter in Toronto) on Dragic:
"According to multiple NBA sources,*granted anonymity because nothing has*been finalized, the Raptors are finding*great interest in a myriad of differently*structured deals for the veteran point*guard and he is almost certain to be dealt*near the Feb. 10 NBA trade deadline,"*
The 2nd half of that is the interesting part. Not just teams having interest, but the whole "differently structured deals".
To me that sounds like more than just "Dragic for a draft pick and/or salary dump". Could we see a 3 team deal in this?
Salary wise, Dragic for Dwight Powell + WCS was the most straightforward move, but I dont see much interest in WCS. Maybe this is where the 3 team deal comes in, and they then move WCS + Flynn + Birch for something else.Comment

Obviously I'm not part of that locker room but this seems like a theme now with teams that Trez goes to.Comment

2021-22 NBA Trade Deadline
**** was all good for the first 2 months and then it’s been a slow decline since
Didn’t think they would miss Westbrook this bad off the court and somewhat on the court and we can see that with Beal’s play this year and this whole dumb*** “Point Beal” mess.Last edited by ProfessaPackMan; 02-01-2022, 12:51 PM.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: 2021-22 NBA Trade Deadline
Which brings up the Beal situation. It's something when your "franchise guy" isn't the leader/alpha. At this point, he's not a #1 on a championship team. He can be the 1B.

Re: 2021-22 NBA Trade Deadline
I do wonder how the Wizards fare in the next week. With probably 4-5 games in the next week and now at 11th, a losing stretch could make a run at play-in even tougher if Hawks stays afloatLast edited by illwill10; 02-01-2022, 07:03 PM.Comment

"Washington Wizards All-Star guard Bradley Beal met with a specialist to examine his his injured left wrist in New York today and will be re-evaluated again in approximately a week, sources tell ESPN. Beal has been experiencing swelling and some pain in the wrist.

I have no idea if this is a trade injury or legit. Guess we'll find out in roughly a week.Comment
