Only long after he’s gone so they can say how much better he made the franchise as winners, completely glossing over the fact that they’re so bad after he leaves because the teams completely destroy their futures to please him and his legions of fans

Sounds like he’s willing to break it up because he doesn’t want to wait a few weeks for KD/Kyrie.

Mans goes thru a little bit of adversity because of injuries and then he just decides to check out. Tried to give him the benefit of the doubt on some stuff but the way he played/looked in that Kings game, something wasn’t right and it didn’t have **** to do with no hamstring either.

And I don’t even listen to Nash talk no more. You ever met a person that just says things just to say them? That’s Nash, lol.

So Blazers take a 3-2 lead on the trade board over the Indiana. Your move, Pacers.

                100 percent agree!!!

The part I'm mad at right now. We traded away our asset for this ****. I'm ready to Ben Simmons his dumb *** for this ****. You wait until I find a trade I like. "Go home!" Just to be petty [emoji23].

At this point WTF are we getting in return?

Okay as somebody who watches like zero Utah Jazz basketball, can somebody tell me what the **** the Blazers are doing? Am I just unjustifiably high on Nickeil Alexander-Walker? I thought he was the best part of the trade yesterday for the Blazers and his potential. Today, they trade him for Joe Ingles who’s done for the year with a torn ACL and a free agent in the offseason and Elijah Hughes? Is Hughes a can’t miss prospect or something? How does this move make any sense?

I don't watch any of the games. From what I understand Portland just wanted the 5 million in cap space and extra future 2nds instead of NAW. It sounds like its more about bringing in big name guys this summer and some smaller trade assets.

                      * Sacremento got the best player in the deal someone that's a multi time all-star. Do we think Haliburton ever makes a all-star team ?
*He is under a great contract for the next 2.5 years at less than 20 million
*This fills the biggest need on the team while removing the logjam at G
                      * They move off Hields contract who is overpaid for what he does
                      * They don't give up any draft picks in the deal while getting the best player in the trade
                      * Fox and Sabonis are both still very young at 24/25 so the window to win will be open for a long time.
                      * If they miss the playoffs they still have their 1st round pick and can add another lottery talent.

I think people have gone a bit overboard on the Kings hate, but big difference is New Orleans gave up nothing of real significance for CJ. Kings gave up arguably their best player who is also only 21 (Sabonis is obviously better than CJ though is part of the reason why).

Yeah it's almost crazy how no other teams are doing this like the Nets, Clippers, Bucks don't' have a pick until 2028, Bulls gave up 1 less pick for Vuc than Lakers did for AD, just bonkers how it's only LeBron lol.

This is a valid point, but I think it has something to do with the Kings having the longest playoff drought in NBA history. This gets them closer IMO. Does a core of Sabonis and Fox get them to a ring eventually, probably not without some other huge splash and massive improvements, but it does get them closer to being a playoff team for the next couple of years than they were beforehand. And if it doesn't at least it was an attempt to which is something they haven't really shown in a decade. They've just been continually stuck, continually making bad choices.

I don't hate the trade for them, but IMO it's getting some unjustifiable hate until we actually see Haliburton blow up/start winning. I think both teams could end up winning from this move even if the Haliburton potential ends up being the better move for Indy.

I like this part of this trade. Thought he was a good solid guard for Chicago, just wasn't a guy you could really lean on to be more than that. I think Pop will use him well, similar to how guys like Jones and Melton are good fits for Memphis.
