And for all those who acted like the second swipe just never happens and is completely unnecessary watch that Oubre clip. Has his arm hooked and the ball is flying out of his hand because of it, Oubre still tries to swing with the second arm to get the ball. Both way too much contact, both warranted the flagrant 2, but just acting like nobody ever winds up with that 2nd arm like people were claiming in the Caruso instance just factually isn't true.

Re: 1/11 - 1/24 Games Discussion Thread
Hopefully with AD back in the fold Frank doesn’t feel as much pressure to start AB and Ariza. Throw out a shooter and a long defender, something like Monk/Ellington and Johnson, or just put THT back in with that starting group and let him find his groove. If they aren’t making a trade, which I don’t think they can make one that matters, THT consistently getting closer to the player he is on his “good” nights on a more consistent nightly level is their current best way to improve.Comment

If Russ is having one of his total garbage games, I would close with Reaves in his places, or if he can come back and be close to his normal self, Nunn.
I'm concerned though that against all rationality Johnson will be cut after his next 10-day expires instead of being resigned for the rest of the season.Jordan Mychal Lemos

Yep, since Russ is not going to the bench, because I'd rather have AB start over him, barring a trade, injury, or load management, I would start Russ, Monk, Johnson, Bron, and AD for the rest of season and let the chips fall where they may.

Think the one benefit to having Monk come off the bench would be to have a scorer on the bench. I know that’s Melo’s role, but they still need something on the perimeter.. and realistically he would make a great quick sub for Russ and just let Bron handle the ball. That could overlap some with a healthy Nunn.
I think I saw there best 5 man lineup this year (tiny sample given injuries) was Russ, Ellington, AB, Bron, AD.. in a way I think it makes sense as a specialist like Ellington should in theory be a better player when his role is reduced to only being a specialist and not having to help fill the void of injured stars. Same night even apply to guys like Ariza, AB, and Bazemore..
Nunn is the interesting piece. If he gets back to where he was I don’t think it would even be crazy to see him start. He played in multiple two-guard lineups with Miami, and if he can defend the other teams point guards at a decent level I think it could make sense to stick Russ on some slower shooting guards because she’s been getting toasted.Comment

Utah missing a lot of players. And keeping this a game.
Bulls got a really good one in Ayo. Might be the steal of the draft right now. I didn't watch the game. But his numbers [emoji102]
DG! Coaches don't **** this up. Vote this man in

Good to see that we’re not only winning when we blow out depleted teams but we’re actually grinding out wins.
The defense has improved again and is back to where it was earlier in the season. The turning the ball over a little too much (DG has had 8 and 6 in his last two games) but 10 games above .500 in January is a dream. Sometimes in LeBron’s second term we never even managed that.
