I wonder if that means the luxury tax and hard cap will see a significant increase after the newest TV deals.

This will definitely help small markets like Cleveland, Minnesota, Oklahoma City and possibly Detroit (when either turns the corner) to keep their young cores intact. [emoji1474]

Does anyone know when the current ESPN/TNT deals expire?

The gambling stuff we're all just supposed to accept and not assume the worst. Nothing bad can happen. That's just how it works now, I guess. With all these leagues and broadcast partners in bed with betting.

I see online that it goes through 24-25. So, I expect to see a new deal announced sometime within next year

Great. More opportunities for the team owners to make stupid decisions.

I definitely see those type of trades going down this offseason. I can see Miami making a trade to bring in another super max guy in. Heck, I see a see several teams making that type of trade to have 3 super max guys to go all in.

Many people big mad Angel Reece did the same exact taunt as Caitlyn Clark.

Selective outrage if I’ve ever seen it.

                  Who is surprised by that?

Selective outrage especially towards confident, talented women of a certain complexion in the US is expected, sadly.

Where though? All I’ve seen is it being praised as “payback” similar to the Austin Reaves and Pat Bev thing. It’s been all over my social media all day today.

All over Twitter. Hasn’t been hard to find.

Going to absolutely be the lead story on the First Takes, Undisputeds, tomorrow.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

I’m going to come through with a controversial opinion nobody’s ever said before. I’m a little afraid of putting this out there but here goes:

                          Twitter is toxic.

And so are those morning after shows.

That's as American as baseball & apple pie. Been happening (in sports) towards confident, talented people of a certain complexion since the days of Jack Johnson. And I still remember the s*** they said about Ali, Bill Russell, Jim Brown, Kareem, etc. I heard the word "uppity" many times.

****, even I'm guilty of getting upset with all the bravado, taunting, and showboating of the Splash Brothers. To the winners come the spoils, TBH.

The days of guys/gals just turning around and going back the other way or just shaking hands are long, long gone. It's just funny/sad/ironic when Clark was doing the same stuff it was all good a week ago.

I grew up idolizing the Called Shot. Showboating and sports go together like lamb and tuna fish, **** sportsmanship, these aren’t intramurals.
