I'm expecting 20-25. 15 seems too low. 40 is probably too high, but I think he's an idiot so if they over did I would be fine with it.

Like mentioned before, by you I think. If this was six months later, if this happens May whatever 2024 after their season is over, he's still an idiot for getting caught up in the same completely unnecessary mess again, but at least there's some time between the incidents, but this mess right now? While this hasn't even had time to fade out of people's memories yet? Overdoing it after probably underdoing it the first time just doesn't bother me.

League office found Morant intentionally and prominently displayed a gun while in a car on May 13, the second such occurrence over three months. NBA: "Morant wielded the firearm while knowing that he was being recorded and that the recording was being live streamed..."

That wording is ludicrous and over-the-top by Silver. Just say you don't want him to harm the league's image, stop with the fake "moralizing" and grandstanding.

Last I checked it isn't "destructive" to hold a firearm (and I'm not a pro-gun person, either).

Now, having it in a public place without a permit and/or license is a whole other matter. I'd have suspended him for the other (worse, IMO) allegations of beating up a teenager and/or pointing a gun at another team's bus.

Anyway, Morant needs to get with a "better" circle of friends and start making smarter decisions. Dude is close to getting himself "canceled" from the NBA over dumb ****.

But really its just how sports coverage has changed over the years. I don't mean some crap like "players in the past wanted to win" cause really I don't think its about that.

We got players on podcasts and whatnot just BS'ing with the hosts. They just chatting like you and me. And every single one of us know that one dude who always says some crap like this. People say things in the middle of their train of thought that they haven't really thought thru. You can see it in Pat's face when he said right right that he knew Kat was tripping

But most people gonna turn it into "man these players today ain't built like that"
