Is it just me or does the new Minnesota state flag just look like they almost modeled it after the TWolves jersey (at least the blue in it) which in turn will lead to a new TWolves city jersey based on that flag.

DLo expected to be benched for Vando for tonight’s game. Matchup wise might make sense with OKC having large guards, two players in the lineup who can’t shoot might be interesting.

DLo has realistically needed benched all year. Only issue is they don’t want to tank his trade value, and when he was benched last year he played worse off the bench than as a starter so it’s hard to find that happy medium I’m sure.

It is funny he’s the one getting benched though right after his comments about not having rotations figured out lol.

Random quarter of the season thought, and maybe it’s because it’s so early..

It’s crazy how well Joel is playing, looking like the MVP front-runner, but the chatter around him actually getting the award is probably like 1/100th what it was last year all because people really didn’t want to see Joker get 3 straight.. Kinda wild how easily influenced the award can be due to the “politics” of it all…

Not saying Joel wasn’t a worthy candidate last year, personally had him 3rd but considered it basically a 3-way tie. He was a deserving candidate. But I think pretty much everyone could agree that the constant chatter and people having to remind someone every TV/radio/podcast episode that “I’ve got Joel because Joker hasn’t made a finals” was a large driving force in him winning.

This year he looks like the award is his, he seems the most deserving by a much larger margin than last year. Yet nobody is even talking about him. This is one of the most dominant scoring years from a big ever…. Coverage of this league is dumb sometimes man.

I think the Nike jersey contract expires in 2024 though I could be wrong. Fingers crossed they don't renew but I think Nike probably will just like what EA does with the NFL. Unless the league decides to hear Adidas pitch again or any other brand.

I'd be willing to see what they could come up with tho. Nike is the top brand, but man they feel so played out and basic at this point. Maybe Gen Alpha will get bored and decide Puma or Diadora is the thing lol.

Adidas had some good designs. The only bad idea they had was trying to force those ugly stupid sleeved jerseys.

It likely would have happened regardless of what company was the official apparel provider, but this trend of jersey alternate on top of jersey alternate started when Nike took over. Not just the NBA either, Nike really went wild in college football. Oregon had more jersey variations than they did games.

And I still ain't forgive Nike for that "system of a dress" BS.
