Definitely don't think this is coincidence that this news dropped on draft lottery day.

This seems like the year Giannis gets traded and one name I would put as possible not talked about much is Boston. This would be if they lose this series and using Tatum / Brown as the base.

I wonder what every teams best offer would be.

Given the picks they have, would OKC be a fave?

        1sts, Hartenstein, Dort for Giannis?

That wouldn't be enough for the bucks to even pick up the phone IMO I think you would need to add Chet or Williams. Since they don't have 1st round pick for years I think bucks have to get a all star caliber player in return. Maybe OKC gets lucky with the lottery tonight and has a high value 1st to offer

I still think either Houston or Spurs. I don't think Shai and Giannis is a good fit. I'm not buying the reports that Houston still believes in Jalen Green. i can understand that if they don't want to trade for Booker. But, as constructed and with his salary, Green needs to play like a true #1 option. Houston needs a #1 25-30 ppg scorer.

Houston can get it done with Green/Sengun, Jabari Smith, and Eason/Reed. Spurs can get it done with Vassell, Castle, and Johnson

That deal works financially. But unless they can rope in New Orleans to get their firsts back, I still might lean Johnson over Sochan just for the higher talent. That would give the Bucks 4 young players with upside and still should get 3-4 more picks.
But, Houston should still be in this. They still have the 9th pick from the Suns and more of the Suns picks to work with.

Spurs and Rockets are top 2 odds in where Giannis could go, but Raptors jumped from +5000 (18th) to +2000 (4th) odds

                  Other jumps:

                  Mavs from +2500 (10th) to +1100 (3rd) and Spurs from +1200 (4th) to +350 (1st).

What would the Mavs have to include along with the 1st to get Giannis?

Raptors now at +500 and Spurs at +400...

I still don't think Raptors will get him, but it's weird how much they've climbed up the odds in a short time.

Maybe because of the relationship of Ujiri and Giannis. But, isn't Ujiri on the last year of his contract. I know there's talks where some feels like Raptors want to make a big move and maybe Giannis wants to stay in the East. The East will be wide open. If Giannis stays East, it feels like Raptors are the likely.

It still feels like either the Spurs or Rockets are the likely outcome for Giannis

Suns seem to be aggressive in moving KD.

Would it be crazy to suggest a KD/Giannis deal? Would that be the biggest deal in NBA history?

White and blue ones look nice.

The black one.....you literally could've just copied the other 2 and done the black throwback too but you do THAT?

Their new logo too, basically what you'd expect from a 2025 rebrand where everyone copies everyone.

Masai has wanted Giannis forever. IIRC, he planned on trading in to the 2013 draft to get Giannis, but couldn't find a good deal to get a high enough pick (ironically, Raptors originally pick was 12th, but that pick was traded beforehand to get Lowry. Technically it did pay off since Lowry and a title > Steven Adams who was taken with that pick).

I think he also helped Giannis and his family get their citizenship to even live in Greece?

If the Bucks offer the Raptors something for Giannis, I don't think Masai would say no unless it was ridiculously unreasonable.

If he's in his final year, I think he'll go all out like Alex did for the Jays that year they went and got Price, Tulo and others because he knew he wasn't being brought back so he shipped out everything in the future for a chance to win now.

Don't see ownership keeping Masai since the way every other team that ownership owns they've cut out the "middle man" between ownership and the GM (aka the president), so Masai could be next. Despite that, I could see the Toronto WNBA team trying to do whatever they can to make Masai the top guy of the organization (maybe give ownership stake too to be the president/ceo).

As far as KD, I feel like it'll be either Denver or Minnesota. KD is going to be 37, on last year of deal, and has had injuries of the last few years. KD is a win RIGHT NOW type of trade that I wouldn't feel comfortable trading valuable picks/players for. I couldn't see the Rockets or Spurs making a move like that because they have the assets for the next young disgruntled star, not an aging vet. I'd trade Paul George for KD, straight up or at worst heavily protected first.

I would love to see a Garland for Suggs trade. I think it'll help both Magic and Cavs. Magic get half court scoring punch and Cavs getting more defense on the perimeter and more toughness. Also moving Jarrett Allen for a couple depth pieces

KD and Westbrook reunited in Denver?

What would Denver have to offer?

Porter, Gordon, Braun, probably need a 3rd team to balance out salaries.
