Not just that, but a 39 win season is your best finish in that span.

Unlike in MLB, where even though Mariners had a 21 year drought, the Mariners had 88+ wins 5 times.

It is refreshing seeing different teams at least having a shot. Seems like we've had so many major droughts ended in all sports the last decade.

After the Kings, only the Sabres and NY Jets have droughts of 7+ years (technically Phillies too, but that could end in a few days). I can't remember a time where so few teams have droughts of 10+ years. Sure, expanded playoffs do help, but it's nice to not see as many franchises even struggling to play meaningful games for such a long time.

I know Silver can’t be too happy that you have Media and some fans actively rooting for teams to tank, again 🥴

Spurs, Jazz & Thunder are my predictions. I want the young guys to grow and get better, but the Spurs need a franchise altering prospect.

There's gonna be a day when Dray's ability isn't enough to outweigh this sort of BS.

He's the ultimate glue guy, so until the championship window shuts completely they'll keep him around, I think.

Now, the big exception is if Kuminga grows by leaps and bounds. If that happens he could conceivably replace much of what Green does (at least defensively).

His combative nature, personality & over inflated sense of his worth (ie arguing with/disrespecting guys that were obviously better like Pierce & Barkley, arguing with Steve Kerr on the sidelines & being the catalyst for Durant leaving) has to be grating. Still, while they are still winning and in the chase it'll continue to be passed off as "Dray being Dray." [emoji2377]

Draymond is a tough guy in today's softer league. That **** wouldn't have gone down so easy even 10 years ago.

Out of this group I could see Rockets and Magic both kinda being sneaky “good”. So I’d mark them off the list unless they just don’t develop at all. Both teams are sorta in that “we have the talent already do we really want to teach them losing habits instead of developing” as well. Pelicans did well with this last year, Philly felt like they tanked way too long doing this in years past and lost pretty all the “tank picks” outside of Embiid.

Jazz are obvious, Thunder probably aren’t much better unless some dude comes out of nowhere, Spurs are obvious. Pacers are weird because they kept pieces that likely make them a bit better than they would be otherwise. Maybe they just like the young guys they have and don’t want to jump in on the tanking unless they get to the trade deadline and are already at the bottom.

It’s hilarious to me that we’re going to have freaks like Zion, Ja and Wembanyama in the league over the next 10 years but that time period is still going to belong to a chubby white guy from Slovenia

I have to say though I’m surprised by just how good that kid looks. Hes in a great period of time where he’s going to be no.1 whereas until a few years ago I don’t think he would have just because of where he’s coming from

Don't sleep on Scoot Henderson. Dude has "jump off the screen" athleticism and fire, yet he's not even 19 yet.

Dude is gonna be something if he can develop a jumper and remains healthy.

France? They have had a ton of prospects come from there since Tony Parker, Boris Diaw, etc. broke the mold/shattered that glass ceiling.

Remember, Andrea Bargnani went #1 more than a decade ago and he was more of an unknown than Victor.

And I'm just not handing Luka the "mantle" as the top guy just yet. Giannis, Jokic and Embiid are all under 30 plus all the under 25 guys you mentioned. The league is loaded heading beyond the Curry/Durant/LeBron - era.
