I know I'm not a real or lifelong Lakers but *** **** it's frustrating even for me seeing the Warriors hand out those huge contracts left and right compared to what the Buss family is (or isn't) willing to do for the Lakers cause they're relatively poor compared to almost all other NBA owners.

My is issue is then why don't they sell or bring in (minority) owners with more cash flow?

They are in the 2nd biggest market with the glitziest team in the league, but are also crying poor all the time.

I mean no one else is gonna be able to compete with GSW's level of spending (they just gave Jordan Poole a monster extension), but they should be able to compete with the Nets, Knicks, Clippers of the NBA in spending.

They should probably sell the team at this point if they'll always fall back on the "we can't spend like that" excuse.

What FAs/draft picks have the Lakers had that you wanted them to extend?

I agree with you about GS’ spending. I got flamed for it here when I agreed with the league for investigating them.

They have no concerns whatsoever paying the luxury tax.
