That asking price was way too high. But he deserves every ****ing penny. He was outstanding last year.

I get he does a few more things well, but those are his biggest strengths.

And unless your name is Jokic, passing as a center isn't gonna be a huge part of an offense.

Again, I'm not knocking dude at all. I just think $29 million annually is way, way too much for a rebounding, role-playing (on offense) big man.

With Paul George going to Philadelphia, Tobias to Detroit and KCP to Orlando, where does that leave Klay in all this?

Does he just end up going back to Golden State on a 'team-friendly' deal, now?

OKC has the luxury that they can afford to overpay someone, but there's a ton of bigs I would rather have on their respective contracts than Hartenstein on that one. Should fit nicely there though.

Bucks getting Delon Wright on the minimum to counter the Bridges and Paul George acquisitions of the other East contenders.

And the Bulls are on the board.

I actually like this move. Curious to see if they want him just to replace Drummond or will they be starting him after a potential Vooch move?

I have a question: If we know that majority of guys are typically overpaid then why do we complain about those contracts every offseason? Lol

Like even looking at Hartenstein’s contract, I’m like “We see these types of deals every year so we do we keep complaining about these type of deals being handed out?”

Because everyone wants to be the smart guy who's the quickest/first to call a trade or signing a mistake or a bust or "oh that team got heisted," etc.

That Thunder roster is DEEP. Not counting Topic(injury) and Dieng(still needs to develop), it feels like they have 11 legit rotational players and they still have their war chest of picks. I would be interested in the Sixers trading for Kenrich Williams.

Sucks to lose Batum. He was a great glue guy. Not really surprised he's going back to Clippers. His wife/family preffered being in LA. Philly was probably only going to offer a Vet Min

As a Philly fan, who's going to inbound passes and do post entry passes now lol. There were games where he was hurt or rest day and just did a late game inbound pass

I like his game a lot actually. Ready to see what a bigger role looks like for him next year.

Grimes, Marshall, Klay, nice aggressive off-season from the Mavs after killing the trade deadline last year too.

Paul George walking for nothing after costing LAC 5 first round picks, two pick swaps, and SGA who is now an MVP-caliber guy is just wild lol.
