Re: 2024 Offseason Thread
Thought they could get more for Murray.
I definitely think the Pels are going to look o trade Ingram to get off his salary. I'm sure they would want to trade with Philly since they can trade for him without having to take any salary back. I'm not high on BI for Philly. The main upside with acquiring BI is that it would allow Philly to go after KCP as well. I would still want a defensive 4 who can reboundComment

Re: 2024 Offseason Thread
I can see the Pelicans trying to expand this trade. Currently, they would be hardcapped to the first apron and they have major needs in the front court. I don't think McCollum has much trade value and BI is the obvious choice. I'm sure they would want to trade BI to either Detroit or Philly. Detroit probably just have to throw a pick in there and take on BI and that helps Pelicans salary issues. Probably could throw a center in that deal as well.Comment

I love Dyson Daniels. It's kind of weird. Their both kind of similar. I know Murray is a better player. No doubt. I feel for Dyson Daniel here.Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

ATL isn't a team that can tank since Spurs control their next 3 drafts. So, they don't have incentive to blow it up.Comment

Re: 2024 Offseason Thread
He's probably going to start beside Trae Young and he gives the Hawks a young, defensive - minded guard they desperately need (mistakenly thinking DeJounte was still that guy).

Re: 2024 Offseason Thread
DLo picking up his player option with the Lakers to stay.
Also, I feel like with this new CBA that we’re going to see a lot of cost cutting type moves from teams, especially with teams trying to avoid that second tax apron too.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: 2024 Offseason Thread
Paul George option is due today by 5pm Eastern. I think that is the major domino of Free Agency. If he opts in, it's likely for a trade or he is staying. If he Opts out, then he's likely going to Philly(I don't think ORL is a real option). I think his decision today will cause interested teams to quickly pivot. I'm still 50/50 on PG for Philly. In theory, he's good fit and don't have to use draft assets. But for me, it's committing long term to someone his age, injury concerns, his mindset.
I wonder if Jazz will be truly willing to listen to Markkanen offers. I think he would help a lot of contending teams. I think he would be a great fit in Philly since he takes a lot of C&S opportunities with good efficiency. At Markkanen's salary, they could still go for KCP and another high level role player. Only thing about Markkanen is that Danny Ainge is going to want a godfather offer, especially seeing how much Mikal Bridges went for.Comment

Re: 2024 Offseason Thread
Been seeing that opting in means most likely trading him. Not sure how to feel about it, most “rumors” surrounding trading him have seemed like lateral at best moves. Don’t get me wrong they could definitely get a player who fills a larger “need” but trading DLo for that player isn’t exactly realistic. Moving him for the sake of adding a specific role type of guy takes away from the nights he has a hot hand and is essentially a 3rd star on a budget.Comment
