(a large number of members there are convinced Deni is a future star. Its not uncommon to see a comment that says Deni is going to be averaging a triple double in the near future lol)Comment

Re: 2024 Offseason Thread
So two players out of Donte, Hart, OG, Bridges, Randle will be moved to 6th and 7th man?
Hart seems like the obvious choice for 6th man and I’d say Donte because he could sub for Brunson as well as at the 2/3.. but that leaves them with a lineup full of forwards and they also have McBride for backup PG minutes. I can’t imagine OG signed that deal with the expectation of backing up Bridges/Randle either.
Bridges can play the 2, but I’m guessing we see lots of Randle minutes at the 5 or possibly using him to upgrade the 5 spot via trade. I doubt they pay Hartenstein huge money to back up Randle.Comment

Was thinking the same thing lol. He's a pretty good player on a great contract. Feel like they maybe could have gotten more for him if they waited a year but I personally do not mind it at all. I don't really think Washington has anyone worth building around (Avdija included).NFL: Bills

But don't think I like this trade from Portland's perspective.
(As for Deni's potential trade value next year, maybe higher maybe lower. Depends on whether this season he overperformed relative to his talent or will we look back and say this past season fits his development arch. Thats what makes Deni polarizing)Comment

Re: 2024 Offseason Thread
Nets locked up Clax on 4 year, $100 mil deal. I imagine it’s front loaded in the first 2 years in case they want to move it in the last 2 years.
Even though we are going to STINK, we still need NBA caliber players. Having a team full of 21-22 y/os isn’t exactly conducive for what we’re doing for the 2nd time in 8 years.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: 2024 Offseason Thread
Raptors trade Jalen McDaniels to Sacramento for Davion Mitchell, Sasha Vezenkov and the 45th pick today and a 2nd next year.
Kings know he's not Jaden right?
Interesting move too because the Raptors were likely looking at Mitchell before they moved up in that 2021 draft.
They have until tomorrow to pick up the option on Bruce Brown. I wonder if they have some sort of deal in mind like Brown and Boucher for some cap dump plus a pick.Last edited by Majingir; 06-27-2024, 07:24 PM.Comment
