His mid range game has been unstopable and he's hit some 3's during the Nets series.

Shooting isn't only about being a great 3 pt shooter. Kobe isn't a great 3 pt shooter, but people still consider him one of the best overall shooters in the league.

Additionally, if you look at Lebron's shooting %, his shots are basically, layups and fast break. Against detroit in these current year playoffs, who has the better fg% against the pistons, wade or lj? I think they both are great young players, but to me I take Wade because he is more dynamic. He has no size advantage against any one he plays against, yet still goes to the whole with great determination and effectiveness. His game is beautiful to watch. Lebron is big, fast and efficient. Take your pick.

Shhh... nowadays the people discredit players for taking the most efficient shots. All they care about are dunks and 3 pointers.

LOL@ all of Wades points coming from driving layups. Its about taking whats the best shot available, the most efficient, and hitting at a 70% rate in the playoffs is ridiculous, I dont care who you are. There is absolutely no way to discredit that whatsoever, and this is against what is considered a top defensive team.

          Agreed...

BTW, Wade is 11-22 from 3 in the playoffs. Small sample size, but he doesn't need to force things. When you have Posey, and Toine(when he's on), he doesn't need to being jacking up 5 3's a game.

wade is a good player but to think he is even a bit better then lebron is insane, wade is living the easy life with shaq there if your good enough to break the defender on the wing then he can drive crazy with shaq cloggin up the paint just ask kobe

Well, I think Wade's b-ball IQ is exceptional, because he's using Shaq to become an incredibly efficient scorer right now. Only flaw in his game, IMHO, are his turnovers, and he's somewhat shaky as a 3-point shooter.

Funny how teams, as you've pointed out, have trouble stopping that. Wade has a decent midrange game as well, though he still needs to work on that a bit more. However, his percentage isn't all about the fact he gets those driving layups.

He just knows where and when to shoot. Even some of the best shooters in the NBA struggle with shooting above 45%. It's not just about how good a player's midrange or long-range game is. It's about picking the best available shot and taking what the defense is giving you, and having the will and focus to make them. Wade's extremely effective with utilizing what he has around him to help himself get decent enough looks.

                  17.3%
                  16.7%
                  18.2%
                  13.2%

This is the 3pt percentage of MJ his first four years in the league. He was still unguardable and could get to rim or get an open 15 footer at will.

Wade's offensive game is VERY similar to Mike's offensive game at the same stage of his career. Wade's athleticism and size are a notch below his Airness, but the attitude and style are the same. The quickness, agressiveness, fearlessness, agility, body control, makes him extremely difficult to contain.

Lebron over Wade anyday. Both are great but Lebron is something else IMO. Both have to work on their defensive game though.

wade's only weakness is his handles. he looks like he gets in a hurry sometimes, and outruns his dribble.

with that, i still enjoy watching wade more. he does have more of a swagger and killer instinct

i would have to pick bron over wade if i was gm. bron at 23 ... whoa!

What???? His handle is one of his best assets. His ability to create space for jumpshots and create driving lanes is one of the best in the league.

Wade and Lebron are in a League of there on in terms of the 03' draft class, I like them both but I would take Lebron over Wade because Lebron is only 21...D Wade is 24 I do believe but regardless of age I just feel that Lebron is a smarter basketball player than D-Wade, not to take anything away from Wade but from what I have seen on the court Lebron thinks faster and doesnt rush under pressure. It could just attribute to Lebron being taller than Wade but when the Pistons trap wade he tends to get nervous and rush a pass to man he sees open instead of letting them trap so hard they cant react to his passes...Lebron is the best in the L @ that. Also nobody can guard Lebron effectively time and time again...if he has a bad game against a player...he usually rebounds and plays very well...D-Wade is practically unguardable too...but some players know how to guard D-Wade...Kirk Hinrich is one of those people...

Seriously that is a hard choice but for Lebron to be as quick as he is for his size its crazy...he can blow by bigger fowards and he can flat out over power fowards his size...D-Wade...i hate to bring it up but the kidd does play with Shaq...and its been stated time and time again that his numbers without Shaq arent stand out...he averages more point but shoots a lower FG%...Lebron doesnt have the luxury of playing with the most dominant center of the game...he runs the Cavs offense and most times finishes the cavs offense...Regardless of who you choose its a win win situation
