I think I would still take Lebron, but now I'm wondering why?
Am I the only one who would take Wade over Lebron?

Re: Am I the only one who would take Wade over Lebron?
Wasn't Dwyane Wade in college in this point of his life? Lebron and Wade had such great postseasons that I really don't think it seperates either player. Wade is lucky in that he has a much better team but I would take Lebron because he is more marketable, younger, and more versatile than Wade who wasn't even the number 1 option on his team till this year.Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.Comment

Thinking about it again...People have been doubting him his whole life...Not being rated in the top 100 coming out of high school, being the fifth overall pick in his draft class, and now being a top 3 player in the game...What is the guy gonna do to surprise people next...Tell him he cant do something, and hell work his *** off to prove you wrong...So its kinda hard for me to take Lebron over this guy thats been proving people wrong his entire life...Rather be dead than RED!

And how is Bron more marketable? And so he's younger, so what? And he's no more versatile than Flash.Comment

Originally posted by Air23Their age don't mean a thing, as they both came in the League in the same year. Both have the same wear and tear of the NBA under their belts.
I do think that Wade is being a tad overhyped right at this moment, but that will die down by next week (remember last week Dirk was unstoppable and the best player in the NBA by the same people). People also forget that Lebron was having an amazing postseason until his roleplayers stopped roleplaying well.
That said I'm a Lebron guy, but I wouldn't exactly be crying myself to sleep if I had Wade.Comment

Anyway, this is the kind of argument that you can't win. IMO, they along with Kobe are the 3 best players. You can put them at any order.Comment

I think Kobe rounds out the top 3, but due to Wade and Lebron's infinitely better playoff performances, I think they're a step ahead of Kobe until next season.Comment

Re: Am I the only one who would take Wade over Lebron?
There was nothing Dallas could do to stop Wade. At first, they thought they could just let him shoot and play their chances. Didn't work too well. Now on to the double team, Wade still finds ways to pull up and shoot, and drive to the hole. He also nailed a few 3's in the process. I am almost certain that next year Wade will take his game even a step forward with expanding his three point game.
And that's just the offensive side of the ball. On defense he comes through with key blocks and steals. (I believe he was the leading guard in blocks a year ago)
Then again, Lebron has a lot of the same skills. I've just had the chance to watch Wade most of the season so I'm going with him. How he can pretty much take on five players on his own is amazing.Comment

Im just happy we have two great players now because the Iverson Generation were OVERRATED Arrogaant choke artist.
Lebron will probably have a championship trophy before AI, Tmac, Vince C, K G,
Webber, Pierce etc etc.
These guys were marketed well, thrown millions but they let the League down mostly.Comment

Hahahhaa. Fatoine's got a ring before all those guys.
Hahahhaaha. Would anyone have ever guessed that?
Then again, those guys also had to play thru dynasties (Bulls and Lakers) and the always-threatening, never-repeating San Antonio Spurs.Comment
