I didn't watch the entire Pistons game against the Pacers last night, but I was pleased with what I had seen. There were more trapping going on and increased overall aggressiveness on defense. And more emphasis on pushing the ball down the court and also getting the ball inside on offense. They were able to get Amir Johnson and Kwame Brown some touches in the post even though each guy didn't do much damage down there. At any rate, this will only help in the long run as the team will need to rely on getting some low post scoring from other sources aside from Sheed and Maxey. Solid win.
Oh, and Danny Granger is a budding all-star. He will be recognized this year if the Pacers remain in the hunt for a playoff spot thoughout this regular season. The chemistry of that team already looks to be better than majority of teams in the league, and that was without their one of their main scorers in Mike Dunleavy, Jr. I was surprised at how Roy Hibbert looked. He's slimmed down a lot and appeared to move quicker than he ever had in college. The Pacers may sneak up on people this year, and I wouldn't be surprised if that happens.
