Any word on what happened to Jeffries? I just saw a report that he left the game early with an injured leg.

Not sure how he's feeling but I'm sure he's day to day.

Duhon, stupidly, threw him an alley-oop with a man under him and he landed on his broken leg.

He walked straight to the locker room. But he came back to the bench and they announced that he wouldn't return for the game.

Gus said that right after he went to the locker room that Jeffries is fine, it's just a precaution.

I was thinking about this and I can't fault Duhon...at all.

In the heat of the game, Duhon shouldn't have to think, "Damn, I shouldn't throw this alley-oop right now because Jeffries just came back from a leg injury."

He's probably just reacting. He sees a teammate running the court, open lane, and he reacts to pass the ball straight to him.

If Jeffries couldn't perform an alley-oop then he should have pulled up.

Odds on Knicks blowing this first half lead within 8 minutes of the third quarter.

Quentin Richardson has got to be one of the dumbest players in basketball. I'm going to start posting some of the dumb things he does on the court as proof.

I don't know how a guy that does so much stupid on the court can be respected as a leader.

Also, I've been meaning to say this for a while, but recently I've been seeing what I hated so much about Tim Thomas (going back to his first days as a Knick).

Tim Thomas must lead the league in travel violations. I swear, the guy has no idea how to keep his plant foot on the ground.

As a floor general and team leader, yes he should. The same reason why PGs rarely throw alleys to big, clumsy Centers (see Patrick Ewing breaking his wrist).

You throw it up to agile players.

When I think about the play, Duhon may have wanted to throw it to Chandler who was on the left side. I would have to watch it again, but I would surely HOPE that's what he was trying to do.

You don't throw an alley to a guy coming off a leg injury in his first game back. That's mind-numbing how stupid he would be.

I think Jeffries should've been smarter and known his limits. He just came off of an injury and I think that he just shouldn't have jumped in the first place. I know it makes him look bad as a guy that lacks effort, but come on, you have to be smart about injuries.

Chris Duhon has been really great for us, as has Lee. Good win today, even though they tried to hand the game to Detroit several times.

Detroit looked TERRIBLE. Rip looks really unhappy.

Yea, Hamilton did not look comfortable or happy at all on that team.

I heard the rumors but I thought it was regular jounalism rhetoric. Watching him in action, it's pretty much confirmed in my mind. Hamilton isn't happy.

Tayshaun is pissed off too. I can tell. His facial expressions were messed up too. Iverson made a shot and Tay's face was dejected.

Yes, both definitely did. I almost wonder if Iverson wasn't capable of scoring 30 ppg would he would be in the same position as Marbury?

With his FG%, if Iverson scores 30ppg the Pistons are going to lose every game. I'll say it again: Dumars should have traded Billups for Andre Miller.

I like Dumars and for the most part he's had more hits than misses in Motown. But I'll never understand the Iverson move. He's a bad fit for this team because he dominates the ball so much, and screws up the chemistry of the team. Miller would have been a perfect choice.

Quentin Richardson just doing more dumb. Two things I got to see without looking for it.

                                1. Tipped pass bounces in front of him, Q stands and watches the ball bounce past him and then watches the offensive player pick it up and drive for a basket. Q never moves an inch.

                                2. Lead pass, Q near the basket, defender on him, and he decides to go for the reverse layup. Yes, him and his 2 inch vert.

Such a dumb player. I'm about to check his IQ in basketball video games. It should be zero.
