Love the two moves today. Crawford and Zbo were our top scorers, but getting rid of their contracts were huge. We're deep at guard also, so its not like losing Crawford is going to hurt the team that much.

Now if we can just somehow unload Curry.

Also all these moves will make it easier to re-sign Lee after this season.

You mean 'overpay' Lee which is what the Knicks brass undoubtedly will do.

I see us possibly packaging Lee with Curry in a trade later this year.

That's what I think eventually will happen. I think it would be at least worth a shot to try and get Curry's value up ala Z-Bo.

I wonder how D'Antoni feels about these trades. I think he was finally going to win a lot of games with this team and now Walsh is blowing up the roster.

D'Antoni just said in the post game press conference that he told Steph he had 35-40 mins. for him tonight. Steph said he didn't wanna play.

That's a tough situation. Someone is going to overpay.

Can you really argue that Lee couldn't ask for $10 million per? There's big guys that did less than him that got those kinds of deals.

And apparently, everyone wants him. I think Lee has so much leverage and he knows that the Knicks need him.

I love Marbury but this right here is BS.. Man-up already. You say you love NY so much. Let's start acting like professional Steph.

As for the moves. How can you not like them. I personally still think we can be competitive & we've cleared a boat-load of Cap Space. I heard with these moves alone that would allow us to offer 2 MAX Contracts in 2010. Is this true?

                    Steph.

I'm not sure who I believe as there are conflicting stories out there.

But if I was Steph, I would've gave D'Antoni a middle finger salute.

I don't even want to go into it, but Marb's motto should be "F you, pay me."

Yes and $10M per is overpaying for Lee.

I fully agree that he has the leverage to get it because everyone wants him. But in a starter's role, Lee isn't worth $10M/year. Seriously. If we're looking at this from a budget/cap/production perspective, Lee isn't worth that.

Now to teams around the league, he is. But they'll be disappointed if he's a starter.

And the Knicks don't really need him. Isn't he a RFA? If another team extends a contract, I'm pretty sure the Knicks won't match.

Lee is good. But I think the Knicks brass know that he's limited.

The rumor is that the Knicks want to sign LeBron James and Chris Bosh. I guess inside-outside.

I'm with ya bigeast on Amare. Dude is just a BEAST. I would think with D'antoni as our coach he might lean more to NY in 2010.

Or we can tank this season and draft Blake Griffin #1 overall.
